Hello everyone, I've only just discovered your site though I've been a Bond fan for nearly all of my 38 years, I love all aspects of the Bond universe, the novels (well okay maybe not the Raymond Benson ones!), the films ( except Die Another Day...but surely that goes without saying!), the themes (No not the Madonna one!), all the Bond actors ( although I'm sometimes rather unfairly rude about Pierce) and all the beautiful Bond girls (yeah at a push and if I was drunk enough I'd probably even have a crack at Grace Jones!).
I have a fairly large collection of reference books regarding the world of Bond (about 200 ish) and consider it my sole hobby. While I like to think I'm fairly knowledgeable on the subject, reading your forum posts it's clear I have still have lots to learn and look forward to becoming an active member (though you may have to bear with me as being quite stupid, I'm fairly computer illiterate!), I like to mold myself on a Roger Moorish tongue in cheek approach regarding my posts and hope not to unintentionally offend anyone with my views or opinions and will certinally try to respect others (apart from those of the ones who like DAD obviously!).
For the record my favourite Bond actor is George Lazenby, favourite film Casino Royale and favourite novel is On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
Look forward to getting to know you chaps.

Nice to see you here Agent 272... -{
...and George as fav Bond ? Controversial...but I also think he is given too rough a ride for his performance in OHMSS...
hey, I dare guess that I'm probably the youngest person on AJB, which is quite intimidating, but anyway...
All members of my family are Bond fans, so he's been around since the moment I came to this world I started watching my first movie, Goldfinger, just so my dad wouldn't be disappointed...when I finished I ran to Waterstone's and bought Higson's young JB book and as I grew up, I read all the Fleming ones about 2 times each.
As geeky as I am, I still find time to be a member of my school's film club. I proposed starting a project titled: 'James Bond has been more important for the development of mankind than da Vinci'. It's something that helps to take my mind off things, and quite a few of my friends are involved! So I thought joining AJB might be a useful source of ideas for us and a good place to share our own views B-)
welcome back and always good to see you.
Have you seen SF yet and what are your thoughts?
hey, BT. I had see Skyfall. saw it on opening night in the US. I thought it was really good. was with a group of folks who are SORT of familiar with Bond, so they looked at me funny when I was hit with nostalgia. I'm gonna have to see it again to pick up more little details.
hi, Lexi! I'll be around!

Hello All, I've been here for a couple of weeks now but thought I'd post here anyway.
My name is William and I'm a 19 year old shelf stacker. Not exactly secret agent but sometimes when I see people stealing from the shop I chase them to the door and retrieve the stolen goods. *Bond Theme Plays*
Okay, that happened once but I definitely had the Bond theme in my head. -{

Welcome LastRat. I'm a grocery clerk myself and there is lots of satisfaction when you can catch a shoplifter.
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope

Only if they're kind of dangerous looking. I did it a couple of times- fun to see the look in thier eyes when they threaten you & you look back like "Try it." )
I stock shelves at an art store...no thieves yet, but I'm ready for them...

I'm welcoming my own new username. Previously FelixLeiter007 for 8 years, I'm now FelixLeiter ♀. Always disliked having the '007' on the end and Sir Miles very kindly agreed to change it for me
I came across this forum earlier today and have seen some great topics and posts so I decided to join up!
My name is James and I am from just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. I am 27, and I hold the sometimes-disagreed-with opinion that Daniel Craig is my favorite Bond.
I am excited to be a part of these boards, I am attending a Bond themed New Year's Eve party this year and am being sent an identical tuxedo to the Midnight Blue tux Bond wears in Skyfall. Very excited and I will post pics!
