Which Gunbarrel is the best:

My Personal Favourite is TWINE's Gunbarrel, the music in it was really espionage type.

I like the one from Tomorrow Never Dies the best. The only real difference is the music, classic Bond.
I thought I noticed a SPECTRE at your shoulder.

Old Craig is in a hurry in his, blimey. It is the only one apart from Lazenbys though that looks spontanious and brutal. The others look staged. Lazenby and Craig look like they are meaning to kill.

I favor the original, while techinically inferior to the later versions - it has a certain charm to it.

I'm gonna have to go with CR... GE and DAD are tied for second.

Ironically, though he's my least favourite Bond, I sincerely feel that the great Roger Moore probably had the best overall 'gunbarrels.'

Hope to see a Craig gunbarrel---properly paced and placed---next time round :007)

Well Connery is the worst, he looks a little clumsy and he swings the gun very wide around his body, something with Lazenby looks fake, Roger is very good, Dalton looks Ok and Brosnan also looks very good, Craig looks rushed and forced. I'll take Roger overall, but I like TWINE the best.

    Right on, Sir Loeff.

I'm not particularly fond of the first version, (used for LALD and MWTGG), but the one created for SPY and used until AVTAK was the smoothest and coolest Bond stride of all time :007)

It still works it's charm on me.

Yeah, I have to admit I agree that Rog's were consistently the best. The one used from TSWLM to AVTAK always worked. He really looked like The Man walking across the screen like that.
After that, I think I would have to go with Bob Simmon's from the first 3 films. Connery's was just awful. When I saw his for the first time I wondered who the hell it was! The walk is pretty cool to begin with but then it all falls apart. I think he must have had a couple of whiskeys before the shoot because he wobbles big time.
Lazenby's is good but I think it is the music that makes it so damn iconic. I don't like however the way that the frame freezes once Lazemby crouches. It takes away the feel (of being shot at)
PB's and DC's do nothing for me and as much as I like Dalton I don't think that his gunbarrel's are particularly good or memorable

    So there

Doubt that- whisky's more likely! :))

RM works well, but I have to count the music in as well:
OHMSS, LALD, Dr. No, TSWLM, TLD, FRWL, FYEO, Goldfinger, GE, TWINE, MR, TND
    NSNA-just kidding.

I've always liked the TND and TWINE one's the best. I thought Brosnan had a good pace and was so nonchalant until he rapidly turned and fired. That, plus David Arnold's music, just puts a smile on my face :)
Bond: That looks like a woman's gun.
Largo: Do you know a lot about guns, Mr. Bond?
Bond: No, but I know a little about women.

I also like the ease of Brosnan and the brutality of Craig.....sorry Connery, the 1st 3 or so are just too clumsy.

Interesting. They had the sense to freeze Connery and Moore's and most of them after the initial shooting, so they don't wobble! But Connery otherwise only has one walk from TB to DAF, Moore has two, first for LALD and TMWTGG then the same flared stroll with thin legs until the end. Dalton's is surprisingly good in contrast, though a bit Holmes-like at the time. Brosnan again has the same walk for all of his, it's very straight, no jumping or anything. Craig, well, it's not really the same, it was like he's in a hurry to get down the pub or make a lunch date.

I also count the music for the gunbarrel. One of my favourites is Diamonds Are Forever; I like the blueish tint in the gunbarrel and the instrumental. The Man with the Golden Gun has a good gunbarrel instrumental too and The Spy Who Loved Me gunbarrel is a classic.

With you on that one. The Roger Moore gunbarrels were all very slick, but FYEO takes the prize as the rendition of the Bond theme is stunning.

i would have to say my favorites are GE's and DAD', i love the synth rendition of the bond theme in GE's Gunbarrel and DAD has the classic Bond opening music, the DADA DUM, which david arnold glad he did because the TWINE and TND's Gunbarrels just kind of start with no "boom" in the music.
