Not a silly exercise at all! Good list :)

There's a few things that are 'unofficial', but can get by request. Obviously one that springs to my mind is the Bilbao suit, which is still sort of a WIP at the moment. I also recently bought what I guess would be called the "Goldeneye Tank" pants - tailored pants in a navy birds-eye fabric (just like the one in the movie). They're both terrific and I get compliments all the time on them - don't regret spending a cent. :)

Theoretically you could get a whole suit made in that navy birds-eye fabric, but you'll either need to come up with your own jacket specs or wait for me to finish sorting it out with Magnoli.

GREAT LIST!!! I think it's very cool to see everything listed in this fashion.

Maybe you can add a separate section at the bottom of the list for upcoming/planned projects. For example we know the DAD blue circle tie is in the works and there are discussions about the Bilbao cufflinks...

    Hash,

Great ideas! I could add the items in their right place chronologically, and list them as 'in the works' or 'by request'.

    A few questions:

The Bilbao cufflinks are a Magnoli project?

You said you purchased Goldeneye tank 'pants', versus a whole suit?

Lastly, the Royale boots. I am assuming these are the boots from the Bahamas Return scene, and should be ordered in brown?

Can't help you about the Royale boots, but the answer is yes to your first two. :)

I was under the impression that the Royale boots were from the final scene with Mr. White at the Villa, to go with the three-piece suit. Someone more knowledgeble than me will know the real answer, I suppose...

I would love to see Indy take on the CR PTS blue linen suit (very cool B-)) and the CR "train" tie, which I finally got a good look at thanks to Blue Ray, and is a classic :007).

I think the Lobb black Romsey boots are those worn in the PTS with Dryden and later n M's apartment.

I have heard the suggestion they were also worn in the final scene but I've always thought boots with a three piece suit unlikely. Thought they were black Lobb Luffields with the suit, though I'm happy to be corrected.

You know, it's times like this that you wish you had a spare $6,835 lying around...

Christmas bonus anyone? Not that I would get a bonus that size, if we even get bonuses this year.

My best guess for those boots - for what it's worth! - is that they are Lobb Romsey's but in tobacco suede, the lightest suede colour supplied by Lobbs and no longer available at this time for that model.

As it seems to me that they look too rugged to be Romseys. After close examination, my guess for the bathroom scene boots is:

Off topic, but I too believe that the Loake Trapper is the closest boot you can get to the bathroom scene. I also believe that the same boot was worn during the Bahamas return scene. They are the same colour, have the same type of sole, the light coloured laces and square shaped toe - nothing like the Lobb Romsey.
Here are a couple of pictures of my own Loake Trapper's, which look far less distressed than the ones in promotional pictures, so closer to the Bond style boot.

    Apologies, continuing the off topic.
Just looked at the Bond on Set book for Casino Royale - the photos of the bathroom scene at the beginning of the book, you can just make out blurred shoe shots. They do look pretty much like the Trappers to me. I remembered this thread (below) from some time back which has some shots from the bathroom scene, and maybe clearer shots of the boots, I think one even shows the laces being the near white of the Trappers...but the colouring doesn't appear to be the same, they seem a bit more golden to me and a rounded front.

    Dryden: How did he die?
James Bond: Your contact? Not well.
Dryden: Made you feel it, did he? Well, you needn't worry. The second is...
    James Bond: Yes... considerably.

I agree, the boots look a bit different in the way you've described in the Eton College shots. However, the shape of the toe/colouring of the sole (underneath view) from the Bahamas return scene is virtually identical to the Trapper - before I'd worn them anyway B-)

We'll probably never find out what the actual boots were, so it's a case of finding something as close as poss.

Well, that is good enough for me and my wallet (I had spotted the Trappers some time back but didn't buy them). What are the Trappers like to wear? The promo shots on the shoe sites don't seem to do them justice?

They're fine to wear, plenty of space as they are only available in a wide (G) fitting. When I ordered mine in the summer (from Herring Shoes) they were on offer so only cost £85. They had a couple of pairs in stock and I asked for the least distressed looking, as they can vary a lot, so be warned. I ordered my normal proper shoe size (9.5). They are definitely not as well fitting as my Ryder 3s, a bit loose, but not overly big. The soles/heels are dead smooth, so obviously won't grip well. Also, as the suede is oiled, any scuffs will show up and you can't rub them out. X-(
They look good with tan jeans/pants and the sunspel polo though and with the cream sole and laces are suitably different from anything else.

    Another shot outdoors:

I have no idea what the status is with the Bilbao cufflinks... (I hope people didn't think I was spearheading that one!).

Now that the blue circle tie is done, I really want to get the TWINE pipeline tie going... after that I will be happy with my collection. :007)

Was checking out Magnoli's site. Decided to bump the thread and add a few new items. The new ones are in bold.
