CR M appartment scene topcoat

Does anyone have details about this coat?
It seems a darker shade of grey with a kind of birdseye pattern with a breast pocket...
What kind of side pockets does it have?
Any info will help...

I took a screen shot of the coat. Looks like a black mid-length.

    IMO it's grey/charcoal.

From the two photos above, it would appear that any patterning is a result of whatever is in front of the light source, not something that is a part of the fabric (look at the wall behind Craig). That's
not to say the jacket doesn't have a pattern to it, just that these images do not reveal what, if any, pattern may be present.

This image is a bit better and if you magnify it, there does seem to be some kind of pattern.

Definately some kind of tweedish-basketweave-birdseye type fabric. Clearly looks charcoal in color. I am curious about the type of side pockets though.

By the way... great pic that I had never seen before... any more where that one came from?

In the Casino Royale Bond on Set book, there is only the one shot of DC in M's apartment. It is a black and white photo so you can't make out the colour. It has a definite weave to the fabric - sort of single direction lines. It looks like a coat version of a suit jacket as it has a breast pocket and has buttons on the cuffs. It also doesn't look like it is a heavy weight coat. And that is about it.

I would recommend the Casino Royal and QOS Bond on Set books, some great shots of clothing and in some cases good close ups.
    Dryden: How did he die?
James Bond: Your contact? Not well.
Dryden: Made you feel it, did he? Well, you needn't worry. The second is...
    James Bond: Yes... considerably.

If you look on the 7th page of Bond on Set he is wearing a short sleeve black polo with those military straps on the shoulder, I believe this is the shirt he wears under the jacket.
Away at Boot Camp, won't be back until April the earliest.

I think that was a YSL polo shirt.

Found this one in Next yesterday.

If you use the zoom function, you can see that the pattern is quite similar.

    Cheers

The color seems a little different, but maybe it's just the lights...

Just take out the hooded vest, and it looks similar. I just bought one today and I think it looks great (On me at least).

I like it, but only Large and XLarge. But if it's your size, it's cheap and looks good! I would buy it.
