I realize this isn't exactly "Bond," but Craig's nameless protagonist had a very excellent style, and to be honest, I found myself liking it more than the CR/QoS clothes he had. I was wondering if anyone had any information on the makers of the clothes he wore. Like, the jeans, or perhaps the pinstripe jacket he wore in the club scene. I know the leather jacket is available at Magnoli, but beyond that I have no idea how to get the stuff similar to, or the same as he wore. Thanks.

Greetings from across the pond.

I myself must admit admiration, and if totally honest, envy, to Mr Craig's wardrobe in Layer Cake. From what I understand the creme suit he wears at the end of the film is by Savile Row tailor Richard James, while the other tailoring is by Kilgour. As for the leather jacket there are several theories but has never been pinned down. Just 'google' 'Layer Cake Leather Jacket' and you will receive a plethora of answers and suggestions.

Again the Jeans are hard to pin down, but the reason they look so good on him, is they were probably tailored to fit him perfectly. As everyone knows it is nearly impossible to get a perfect fit in denim.

Personally my favorite look of the whole film, was the one where he lies and is just covered by the gorgeous Sienna Miller, now what I would give to re-create that.

Just to add a post script to this. I have been in touch with "Wested" and they will be offering a replica jacket for sale soon. The price.. Approx 165 of our English Pounds.

They also replicate the Casino Royale Jacket, how it compares to the Magnoli version, I wouldn't know. It would be interesting to find out though.

Thanks CP, interesting. Their CR jacket doesn't look quite as good as magnolis , cannot put my finger on it. Might be the model they have used! Be good to see their Layer Cake Jacket, watched the film again the other night, actually.

Yeah I watched Layer Cake the other day and found myself fancying a leather jacket like that too.

There's a jacket on eBay at the moment that gets the best of worlds in relation to Layer Cake and QOS. It's a reversable jacket and looks pretty cool. Too small for me, but might be of use to someone on here?
