  I agree with Swede BKK, Puff Daddy clearly did this to feed his ego. I don't know why on top of producing records, recording his own music, and selling clothing he feels the need to be an actor too.

  Well it seems that the money was spent on the shooting of a video, not to EON productions. That's sad. Anyway, I think that he is a little ugly without his big sunglasses.
  
  EDIT: And I don't think it would be that good an idea to get a black James Bond. I mean, there are plenty of roles for black dudes. Then James Bond will end up a woman? I mean, James Bond is british. And yes, there are black british dudes, but James Bond is a white british dude.
