    According to the Authorized Biography of James Bond by Pearson, Fleming's first Biographer, James Bond was born in Wattensheid, Germany. However Bond's birth outside of Britain, was a function of Bond's father's job. So Bond is a Brit. Bond's mother, Monique, was Swiss, but he's still a Brit. Don't forget that Bond has American tendancies like drinking coffee, stance and general deportment. Nevertheless, Bond is still a Brit!
