Relais & Chateaux Display and Carole Bouquet

I was honored to be a part of this event...and Carole was not only charming and gracious but looks amazing! She signed my crossbow and we chatted for a good part of the evening...believe it or not, not about Bond but about medicines and back aches... Was able to steal not one but two kisses...and so did my wife (long story). The three Bond Girl cocktails were delicious as were some of the Bond girl bartenders! On top of things the CEO of Relais has invited my wife and I to have dinner with him and Michelle Yeoh the next time we are in Paris...yes, it was a very surreal night to say the least. Sorry if some of the pics are blurry towards the end...they had a Dom Perignon station and I became very familiar with it.

And Carole still looks gorgeous - much better looking now than she was in her Bond days IMO!

I presume you met Carole in Paris as that's where I think she is based??

Was her english any good? I ask because on a signed photo she sent me, it's written mostly in French!!

Also, I couldn't quite make out her signature on your crossbow.....do you have a close up photo of the signed item?

She was actually in NYC at the event above. She is the ambassador for Relais for 2010. She even brought her vineyard's wine to the event...delicious! She does have a soft French accent, nearly poetic. Her skin, hair, everything was perfection! All that good living in remote area of Italy...but she does get to France quite a bit. Would be happy to take pics of her sig on the crossbow. She had some funny stories about the crossbow during filming...she actually DID shoot it for a few scenes but was so bad they just had her mock it after awhile. Sucker is HEAVY!

Fantastic stuff David, FYEO was one of the first films that made me sit up and enjoy Bond as a kid, its lovely and slightly eerie to see how amazing Ms Bouquet looks now! The lady clearly knows how to take care of herself!
