I'm just enquiring here to see if anyone else here vists www.mi6.co.uk and www.mi6forums.co.uk as I've tried to log on to the sites but it appears to have crashed.

The MI6 Forums site just redirects to Commander Bond Forums. :s ?:)

It's just that I also visit these sites and wondered if anyone else here has had trouble logging on to the 2 sites in question?

This is why AJB will reign supreme. Always up and running and kept in good working order. Thank you Si for making this the best James Bond message board on the internet. {[]

I gave up trying to register on Commander Bond, shame as it could be the best Bond site there is (although ajb has a wider brief, more humour and does Off Topics very well).

Woow, I'm originally from MI6 and that's been down for 3 days. Then I went to CJB.net and now that is down as WELL?

I hope you guys aren't next, cause there is a real Bond villain out there taking out the sites...

I'm having trouble with accessing MI6 as well! That's a shame because the forum had some brilliant fan fiction. Oh well. :(

apparently the latest is that James Page EDIThas said that its someone from CBn who's messed up mi6.co.uk.

CBn have denied this, apparently Page has tried contacting CBn, and vise versa, and no-one is replying/ talking to anyone.

Tbh, i've no idea whats going on between these 2 forums, and nothing is proven, it could all be BS and people just trying to 'stir this up a little' between the 2 forums.

CBn is working fine, mi6.co.uk is still down, with no real explanation coming from anywhere.

I always considered mi6 as the place where the kids bicker, opposed to a more 'grown up' enviroment over here at ajb007. I've been a member at mi6 for some time, and in recent months its gone slowly down hill. Many decent members have left, a new breed of bickering child has appeared and all of thats topped off with some kid who appears hell bent on mentioning in virtually every post that he has aspergers 8-)

hate to say it, but im not sure if i'll miss mi6 if it doesn't come back.

Please avoid personal attacks here--we don't want to start fights at AJB. HB

This is a horrible lie posted by a CBn trouble-maker who has now apologized and is back tracking, saying it is just his "theory". Also, no-one from Mi6 has contacted anyone at CBn about this.

I am also a member of the mi6 site, I also have no clue what is going on but read elsewhere (on commanderbond.net) that somebody was messing around with the forums or something. Last night I checked the commanderbond site and they said their servers were down, I don't know if it's back up today though, mi6 is still down.

Let's hope this forum isn't next.

We had someone hack us a while back, which is why SiCo changed servers and upgraded the site. Let's hope we are invincible!

and that was about 24 hours ago.

yeah i know people who run these forums do so out of their own pocket and their spare time, but i just think its a little crap when people make promises they don't keep ie "yeah it'll be ready soon, yeah, soon, coming soon, yeah its nearly ready......." one year later - "yeah its gonna be done soon". :o

a simple message on the front page of mi6.co.uk would have been nice, even if it was a simple note to say what was/had been going on.

apparently the 'updates' all one of them appear on mi6's arseface page, but because i don't have this 'myface' thing, i can't see it.

c'est la vie, the aspergers kid went n ruined it before the hack anyways. 8-)

BondLover101 or whatever right? :)) No I agree with ya, a warning would have been nice. Who knows when the site will be back up. (Shaken, Not Stirred here btw)

While BondLover12 may sometimes post confusing messages, he probably wasn't behind the mess, now they are saying it's the overload of their elimination games and they are working on the forums, of course keep fingers crossed, except to post on this magnificent forum.:D

Really it was the elim games that brought it down? Well they should upgrade the forums then, hopefully that's what they're doing.

    Yeah, that was pretty weird.

It'll be back, doubt anybody's thrown in the towel over there.
  • minigeffminigeff EnglandPosts: 7,884MI6 Agent
i seriously doubt Bondlover12 is capable of bringing an ant to its knees, let alone the mi6.co.uk forums.

hey **** happens, but the annoying thing is no official word from king dick james page. all thats being posted over on CBn is leaked out bits and pieces.

the little nerd who suggested Page said it was a CBn member who hacked mi6 needs a good slapping too.

i hope mi6 returns soon, cos otherwise the annoying brats will jump over here, and if theres anything i can do without, its that bloody aspergers nutcase pestering me on here.

Well, did you really need to?

I mean, in common sense here, along with some sort of seasonal gifting holiday madness, could you perhaps practice the universal gesture of kindness?! Especially now? During this "holiday"?

It's always nice to have new people join us. Even if the other forum comes back on-line, hopefully most of you will call this your new home. And if anyone from the other forum comes here and gets out of line the mods here will take care of them :v They're the best around.
