I have been working on taking screen captures and researching alternatives to 007's wardrobe for over a month for personal use and realized I should blog my findings. It's been great fun putting together these files and alternatives for a future Bond-like wardrobe and I wanted to share them with the other members of ajb007. I plan on updating frequently, and always adding new pieces to the blog to allow others to find their perfect pieces to update and complete their affordable bond wardrobe. Here is the link again http://affordablebond007.blogspot.com/. I will keep it in my signature from now on. Enjoy.

May I add some suggestions from a UK perspective for Black tie? They paid off beautifully for me!

Lovely work on the Blog.
I think Charles Tyrwhitt's monk shoes ('Aldwych' style) are closer than the ones you suggested in matching the TWINE Presley monk shoes. I highly recommend them.
BTW, I visited Charles Tyrwhitt in the city recently and got a chance to take a close look at the Black Label shirts. Unlike the regular line of shirts, the Black Label's look almost identical to T&A shirts. Not only are they sea island quality cotton with MOP buttons, but the shape of the collar has more of the flare present in T&A collars and the placket has identical stitching (running parallel and matching the width of the buttons). This last detail has been present on T&A shirts since at least the Dr. No days (check out the scene when Connery removes the silencer from his PPK), and isn't really a common styling to most of the dress shirts I see on the market.

Well of course it's not the same, but it does look very alike
