    Of course it is - which is why I'd rather have some indication of the price. As stated before - I'd expect $1000 on top of the figure you gave Mantis - at least !

    I've wanted a GG for quite awhile, but I'm not going to mortgage the house for one :))

    The higher the figure - the more exclusive the item.
    The higher the figure - the more chance of the company going bust.

    It can be a fine line to judge.

    I'd be interrested in $600-$800... but $1800, I don't know. That's a lot of money for a toy. Of course you can re-sell it if you want, but it's still a lot of money for a toy.

    Hi David,

    Do you remember how much did the S.D studios GG cost, when released??

    I do KNOW this, folks...Factory Entertainment are working to bring both pieces in at less than the original SRP of the SD studios guns which I believe was $600. If you are saving up for this piece and can hit the $600 mark i would ABSOLUTELY send them an email. I will tell you the SE version will go in a blink of an eye, not so much to collectors, but to the large chains that will be carrying these.

    Bruno,

    We are not ready to announce final pricing on the Guns yet, but hope to do so shortly.

    However we expect to have this isue solved shortly and will be announcing the SRP (suggested retail prices) very soon, I anticipate the end of January

    Rest assured we are working very hard to bring both versions of the gun to market at the best value prices and whilst these will be high end high quality collectibles we think people will be pelased with the pricing. As far as approx pricing goes I can tell that the targets are no more than than $500 (USD) for the LE verison and no more than than $800 (USD) for the SE Dual Signature version .

    Regards

    Barry

    I just got their answer. I guess it settles it. Something like $800 for the SE version.

    But you could sign up in the U.S. , right ? Postage will be hefty though. And otherwise you can bet that the SE will be available on eBay.

    007 and a half, What agent told you that? That is ludicrous...if you email them soon you will be assured one. Barry has put wheels in motion that people on this board are taken care of.

    And that is a great bonus for AJB.

    The Mantis - a huge thanks for all the effort you have put in behind the scenes to help this to happen -{

    Quick question for Barry,

    I emailed Darren at FE to secure an SE within 20 mins of Mantis putting the update on here on Christmas Eve. I know that it's the holiday season, but are you intending to acknowledge the pre order emails in the order in which they were recieved in order to secure a low serial number?

    Many thanks

    GM -{

    PS I suppose 007/400 has already been allocated, but one can but ask :D

    Ladies & Gentleman,

    I hope we can clear up any confusion here.

    But first I think we should request that Mantis be nominated as KJB (Knight Commander of James Bond) in The Queen’s New Years honors list for his services to the Bond community. ;) -{ ;) -{ Thank you Sir!

    We are currently compiling all the emails we have received at both our UK and US offices from people all over the world who want to go on the waiting list for the Golden Gun. In hindsight we should have set up one dedicated email address for interested parties and we will come up with something less confusing for future releases. Our apologies. Honestly we did not expect to get as many inquiries as we have.

    As we operate globally we are currently compiling all emails received into one master list. Everybody on the list will get a dedicated email w/c January 4th welcoming them to the Golden Gun waiting list and with further instructions/information. If you do not get an email next week don’t worry you will have a chance to re-register. We are currently working on developing a James Bond prop Replicas social networking/collecting club and any ideas or suggestions that you may have would be warmly received.

    At the current rate it seems that the Golden Gun replicas will be very popular items. We are glad you like what you have seen so far, thank you… there is more to come!

    Let me take this opportunity to wish all AJB users a Happy New Year, we are looking forward to bringing you a great range of products in 2010 and beyond.

    May I echo 007 1/2's welcome Barry. I have now recieved confirmation of receipt from Darren, thanks.

    May I also suggest that failing me being 7th on the wait list :#, that Mantis be offered "the covetted one" for his tireless work on our behalf ........ just a thought.

    Don't say that, we care. And one that might not care will care when he sees you're a quality member. If you turn out to be.

    EDIT: But again, I've been here for a month, what do I know

    Confirmation? I didn't receive one when I sent my email yesterday. :# Is everyone receiving a confirmation email?

    I just requested that I be put on the waiting list and left my name. Was I supposed to reference AJB?

    **I just read Factory Q-Branch's post at the top of the page. ;% I will be patient.**
