Thanks Ed!
When you gave the hint "Roger Moore", i was quite confused. I was thinking the neptune diving sequence, Q's headgear in the hot-air balloon sequence in Octopussy. And then i was recalling every Moore bond film in my mind.
nice quiz, Ed!

Yeah…I know and I guess my clues are starting to give you guys TOO much of a hint.
This is indeed the Larger “Homer” device given Bond by Q-Branch and faithfully duplicated by Christof. I consider this one of the “Must-Have” props that no collection of Bond props should be without. If I didn’t know better I would swear I was holding the screen-used prop!!!!

It looks vintage to me. This is definitely older than finnish Sako RK62 assault rifle (made first time in year 1962).
So this one could from world war 2 era. Why not from the first Bond film???
Don't now the model, but i'd say this could be from DR. NO, when Bond and Honey are captured by Dr. No's henchmen in the Crab Key. Very Wild guess ?:)

Yes…it is FRWL. But what most of you are not aware of is... that it’s on the SPECTRE speedboat. Tatiana lets Bond know there are some flares and charts but neglects to let him know there is a full automatic Lancaster MKI Submachine gun!!!!!

Now I hate to correct you Ed, but it's actually a Lanchester not a Lancaster. This was the forerunner to the Sterling Submachine Gun which has been seen prevalently in many Bond films, OHMSS, TSWLM spring to mind. But kudos to you, I'd never noticed the Lanchester before in the boat.
OK, I'm seeing a 'pip' pin which suggests an aircraft mounting of some sort, the link is not standard NATO, suggesting possibly Russian. The rounds appear to be 7.62 Short again suggesting Russian. Fairly heavy external recoil springs, again suggesting a mount of some type and unless mistaken a miniature laser 'Red Dot'.

But apart from that I'm a little stumped.

At the time of filming this particular Bond film, this "prop" cost only 1$. Pretty cheap chicks to "read".

sorry Ed, not heard of a STEB....
but even allowing for typos, I don't think you're close..
does this help?..
and as the actual model is tricky, so how about the film?..
unlike the lanchester, this one is on screen for minutes...
But apart from that I'm a little stumped.
