I thought it was about time i showed you lot some of my bond props! Interested for feedback. Hope it makes and adds to the excitement of some cool stuff..
Is the little gun from the movie The Man With The Golden Gun? I've never seen it, where did you get that?
I know I have one with a white handle, I believe I got it at Disney World in the mid '90s. I'm sure you can find them at various pirate/adventure/frontier themed stores or tourist attractions.
Here is the screen-used Derringer used by Herve Villechaize as Nick-Nack.
Recently sold for $13,042.00 on 12/06/06 at the Film & Entertainment auction.
A letter from Bapty accompanied the gun confirming the provenance.
I have the MGC (Model Gun Company) metal replica which duplicates the feel, weight and function of the actual firearm. Just need to replace the grips with wooden versions to match the film used one.
The photo I posted is of a metal (Zinc alloy) replica made by a Japanese company MGC (Model Gun Corporation) that used to sell replicas that were exactly as the real firearm. However, being zinc...they could not be used to fire a projectile of ANY kind.
The hammer could be cocked, the barrel will tilt open, the triggers worked, it could be disassembled just as if it were real...but that's it. It was just a model.
MGC went out of business many years ago and their models command a high pricetag if and when you find one.

A couple of pictures from the "Casino Royale" replica passport. Indy did a great job on the item and I plan on adding the Sean Connery replica passport later.

And it starts at 1,000 USD? How much is it supposed to go for?

At the bottom, they give prices aroung 50-75$. Why was the first one on the thread 1000$?
And what do you think about the eBay one?
