Yeah but yesterday it was starting at £500 - today its £600 - I know we live in a globalised capitalist world but not even OPEC wack 20% increases on overnight!!!!! I'd like this jacket but refuse to line somebody's pockets like this I am afraid.
But ask yourself a question. Why would Bond require a keyed remote for his 750IL when he has the Ericsson JB988? This is why the line "the keys are in the car" AVIS end sequence was cut from the movie, then look at the original Christies listing & if you study the image with a magnifying glass the key has cut outs this one is a key blank!
I've been searching for an alternative to the Goldfinger brown barleycorn hacking jacket. This one isn't for me, but the price is right for someone, especially in the UK, to take a chance on.
I will consider offers on the cufflinks from fellow ajb'ers.
Impending new addition to the family and the cost of racing an r1 means I am reluctantly looking to raise funds....
Sensible offers though please gents.
I also have the Limited Edition Turnbull and Asser Casino Royale dinner shirt and bow tie set if anyone wants the whole look (size 16)....

Yes I was thinking that first point as well. But anyway if it is actually the same Christies key, it's a real shame the seller is splitting the key and the envelope. Would be great if things like that are kept together.

Interesting Donk. Do you have a full size pic of the Christie's key?
No there is only the image on the Christies website which had no zoom facility back in 2001. If you look closely at the right side the key has an uneven jagged surface. The key blank as supplied by BMW is uncut & therefore completely flat.
Your right, Donk and good catch!
What a nasty fraud attempt! Have you reported this?
No I have not reported it to ebay. When he/she first listed it received no bids. I've informed our AJB Bond community. The fact that the seller has the Christies hang tag means the seller has access to the Christies lot however a BMW key blank can be had for roughly £15 and the 7 key ring has no real connection to Bond as it was produced for the BMW 7 Series and that can be had for roughly £5. Ultimately even the original Christies auction lot is questionable as Bond receives his AVIS documents from Monerpenny in M's limo & they are attached to a clipboard so no manilla envelope or key is ever seen on screen!
The Moncler is a great "alternate" to the SA TF. The obvious difference (apart from the price ) ) is that there is no contrast colour between body and sleeves They do run small I have a XXXL and it's a great fit for my 48" chest.
Great ski wear and I'm sure it's where TF sourced his idea for the Solden Jacket.

I am usually a size L, but in Moncler an XL. So all three are too small for me.
Back when the first Solden pre-production pics came out there was a run on the Monclers.
It was lucky me! I’m a huge bond fan and love browsing this forum but I’ve been a lurker until now - this felt like the perfect time to dive in with my first post. The jacket arrived today and I’m thrilled to own an item I never thought I’d be able to get my hands on.
Thanks for bringing the auction to my attention, Stocks. I owe you one!

Glad it's gone to a good home where it will be loved, the Menlo is a beautiful piece of work.
While it isn't the same woven brown belt, the link below has two (a 32" and 34") BC belts with the correct SA buckle. So if anyone's interested in doing some mixing and matching with an alternate strap...
They seem to use that buckle on many designs. Prob would be simple for them to do a special run since buckle reused etc however the blazer was a bit of a headache even though I got there in the end!

Here is the original Christies listing from 2001. Look carefully at the right side of the key and you can see a jagged edge. The ebay sellers key is an uncut blank:
