Stolen rebreather idea!

Just saw episode of baywatch hawai season 10 'Path of Least Resistance'. Basically this guy is inventing things that will aid in the rescue of people quicker. My guess is as this was before DAD they originally stole there idea form thunderball, and maybe Eon stole there idea from baywatch as it was back in 1999.

Yea its stolen from THUNDERBALL, but the mouth peice it employs is the same as the DAD breather.

But in reality you would last longer just holding your breath than using one of these

Well DAD was after that so it suggests that they copied there idea as baywatch copied them originally. Either that or the same guy that designed the new rebreather shared his design with other shows and production companies...

yeah i really doubt peter would take his cues from baywatch though.

ok, so DAD came out after this episode of tit-festooned cack went on the tv, but thats far from solid proof that the DAD rebreather was based on it.

i'd just expect the DAD rebreather to be a rehashed version of the thunderball device, I don't think baywatch has anything to do with it.

i agree, I doubt any prop designer would get inspiration
for Bond gadgets from baywatch

the prop designer or even Q himself, would just keep
sketching out the design for 2 large dam buster bomb's
for some odd reason
