Has any used Magnoli Clothiers? If so how difficult was it and are you happy with you product? I am in the US, specifically Ohio and I am looking to purchase several products, but I want to make sure they are legit first.
Thanks

Do a search on Magnoli in this section and you will find quite a few threads (pardon the pun) on their threads. )
"Your contact?" "Not well."
Kind regards,

It's the best you can get for the price, but it's nothing near the best tailor on the planet. And by the way, he does not make the clothes himself. His products are very very good, there are some great examples here, but no, having clothes sent by mail and made in China does not sounds Bond to me. It sounds like a Bond copy.
Having a local tailor that will propose things and respect you sounds Bondish.
Even though Magnoli is the best Bond-copy you can get for the price, it's not one of the best tailor on the planet. Maybe you should travel a little more, to Napoli or Milan perhaps.
I invite you to disregard toutbrun's post entirely. Magnoli is great... provides great clothes that fit well and that are made according to the specifications that you will give him. I own many very expensive suits and custom made shirts and will send anyone to Magnoli in a second. He is that good and his prices are right. Truly a blessing for Bond fans and he respects our desires for great quality Bond inspired clothes that are as close looking as humanly possible to the originals that are, more often than not, no longer available at any price. He will even cater to your special requests for items not in his catalog. So, I invite Mr. toutbrun to stick with Tom Ford and Brioni and let us enjoy Indy's great work made with love and an attention to detail that is quite uncommon but so bondian. By the way, Napoli is no fashion central by any means...
Make mine Magnoli...
Sometimes it's also practicality. I dare any of you to walk into Turnbull & Asser and ask for a dress shirt made with the turnback button cuffs, but not in their current style but the way it looked in the 60's when they made them for Sean Connery in the early Bond films (the cuffs flared a bit instead of being square). Hard to get taken seriously sometimes when you have very specific requests.
On the other hand, the jacket (which is my single favorite piece of clothing) is a brilliant piece of work. For $385, this thing was a steal. The leather is buttery soft, it fits like a glove, and it is a faithful reproduction of the Armani piece. I get compliments every time I wear it. Frankly, no one should wear leather jackets that don't fit perfectly, and Magnoli's exceeds expectations. I'll never buy a leather jacket off the rack again.
Despite my experience with Magnoli's shirts, I cannot advise against them. After all, where else are you going to find a faithful reproduction or suitable alternative to, say, the Madagascar shirt? So if you're willing to pay the price for something that you cannot get anywhere else, go for it, but be advised that you may not be getting the very best quality. As for Magnoli's jackets, get your credit card out... Now.
Is Magnoli one of the best tailors on the planet? No, not by a longshot, but he does offer some great reproductions you cannot find anywhere else, the customer service is good, and there are some real quality gems in his collection.
The Royale jacket is by far my favorite too, and I get compliments all the time on it.
Having said that, I do plan on ordering a suit soon, because the photos I have seen show a pretty good product for the money. And presumably suits are sourced from a completely different supplier.

The suits are a perfect fit and extremely comfortable.
The trick is to get the measurements that you send them right...
I have to say Indy has had, and continues to have fantastic customer service and always gets back to you quickly. He has tremendous patience when discussing details and has always been very accommodating in all of my correspondences. As long as Magnoli keeps his doors open I will be frequenting his business for all of my film/retro inspired looks. He understands his craft and his clientele well.
Lastly as someone already mentioned....if you buy a leather jacket from him, you're in trouble because you won't want to wear anything else. And once you realize that there is basically no limit to the designs of the coats, well have your credit card ready and be prepared.
With that being said the next pair of shoes I have him make will be custom ones of my design, (with my wide foot in mind). Bottom line: Quality is there, just make sure your surgical on your measurements and understand exactly what kind of shoe your getting yourself into, so to speak. That is to say don't think your going to get John Lobbs out of the deal, but know that you aren't getting junk either.
Thanks for info, unfortunatley I also have very wide feet (US 13).
The Luffield design which I presume is what the Royale shoe is based off looks painful for me to look at!!! I normally wear Prada shoes with a square design at toe end.
lobb's standard fitting is pretty narrow..i don't have wide feet and i have to break them in...
Haven't heard of any since I'm here.
