Finally, a decent blue polo alternative!!!

I've been looking hard for a very long time to find a polo just like the Sunspel one, but it has been to no avail. My budget as a college student doesn't allow me to dish out almost $100 on a polo and no matter what, I was left unsatisfied in my search for a cheaper alternative. Sometimes, the pocket would be there, but no point collar. Other times, point collar, no pocket. Then, too many pockets, button pockets, epaulettes, long sleeves, wrong colors, etc.

Finally, my wait has been worthwhile. My need has been satisfied. My attention to detail has been rewarded.

Point collar, chest pocket, non-elasticized sleeves, tailored-looking fit, price: $24.50... a beautiful moment in the life of a Bond-alternative seeker

That looks like a good find, is says the shirt has 'Tennis Tails', would that mean a lower skirt at the back compared to the front?

Yes, according to wikipedia: a longer shirt-tail in back than in front (known today as a "tennis tail") the "tennis tail" prevented the shirt from pulling out of the wearer's trousers or shorts

I think the TF polo shirt that was worn by DC had that feature.

One difference I spot is that the original had black buttons. But a good alternative.

I shop Lands End all the time (very nice gray T-shirts!). Where did this 'canvas' line come from?

The shirt looks right, but sounds like it is made from t-shirt material so who knows how it will hold up. Buy it and give a nice review!

I also just noticed also that the model is wearing a pair of dark wash straight leg jeans and (not quite dark enough) chukka boots. All he's missing is the harrington!!! Looks like the person/s who had a hand in this collection have some Bondian inspiration.

Please let us know how the fit is! I usually wear a medium, but Lands End sometimes runs big on me... this is a great find!

I just received the Land's End Polo in red. I like it a lot. I normally wear a large and went with the medium. It's fits good. The material is a jersey cotton verses the mesh of the Sunspel. But the overall look and fit is good. You can always swap out the white buttons for black as well.
