I don't remember it from the movie. When do we see it?

ps. Has some of you made a copy of Vesper's letter?
And the leather keyring is still a "mystery" for me. :)

I have the Vesper letter - only one trick - the lady who helped me from Switzerland couldn't get a pic of one part of the letter that was obscured. She could read the text to me but no pic was available - so we have to infer the handwriting style for the capital "H"

Are you going to try and collect the whole Vesper kit and caboodle?

    - poem book
    - Sony camera
    - Mum's letter
    - seashell
    - handkerchief
    - sunglasses
    - handbag
    - stingray "wallet"
    - keyring
    - perfume
    - passport
    - business card
    - SH loveknot
    - SH ear-rings

I also have a photo of Vespers parents house (not seen) but is the real house in Coffinswell that the letter refers to

    Hi!

I'm trying to do some research and track down as many Vesper's belongings as i can for my CR display.

But as we all know original SH Loveknot & ear-rings are quite expensive "For display only", so i might

consider alternative options. :D I know that getting all these things together is a quite a challenge, but

"i have all the time in the world" :)

How about you? Do you already have all the items named above?

    All the Best,

    Hi Teppo

    rLdNA.jpg

I have all the items except
    - original loveknot and earrings (I have a replica loveknot). I need an excuse to buy an original after spending a tidy sum for wife's Valentine's present a while back...without been accused of sneaking in a Bond purchase...
    - handkerchief
    - keyring
    - stingray case

In the picture, note the "nice" picture of Vesper smoking a ciggy. The photo of the house is actually the real house referred in the letter from Mum. A Mr E. Carpenter lives in that house. It's a coincidence probably but the keyring in Vesper's bag on the yacht has the initials "EC" on it.

The passport I have is for DC but essentially same as for Vesper. Incidentally, real passports issued during time of CR should actually be the new biometric types...but in the movie props, they are still the pre-bio passports....but of a technical blooper since the MI6 issued passports Bond gets out of the paper bag look new (even though real spys do not get issued new looking passports on assignment...dead giveaway to the opposition....they would be well thumbed, dog earred, etc).

    Best rgds, Sid

Love the display, pic of Vespers home and pic of Vesper etc.

Where did you get the loveknot replica? From Argentina?

Is that 1,000 000$ Casino Plaque screen used?

    Very nice items {[]

You have to drink that 82 Angelus, it's gorgeous stuff. I convinced myself that the screen used prop was opened anyway, so to be screen accurate ;)

You guys make very tempting arguments for the '82.

However, my problems go further than that.....I will open up another thread in a while and you will see what I mean B-)

The keyword here is also research..research and research... :)

While i chased down my poem book and eventually got it, i also found some
backround info of author of the so called "Vesper's poem book".

Vittorio Locchi, was an Italian poet and songwriter born in 1889 Figline Valdarno( the Province of Florence in the Italian region of Tuscany, which is located about 25 km southeast of Florence. He made several poetry books, before his tragic death during the first World War. In 1917 he was traveling in steamer, which was torpedoed and he died at age of only 28.

There's a school named after him in Milano and also at least one road, if i recall right.

Well, enough of the backround of the author and back to the main topic.
One of his books was published after his death, the book that we can see on
a big screen only for a few seconds... La Sveglia il Testamento.
It was first published by L'Eroica in Milano 1918.

If you're after this particular book,
look for first edition, that's the one we can see in Casino Royale.

This could be very far-fetched, but i think the film makers wanted to add something special
to Vesper's belongings such as this particular poem book, which you can not find from every
bookstore or library. Also the name of the poem book "La Sveglia il Testamento" in my own
opinion suits very well for the story between Vesper and James.
My italy is a bit rusty, but "svegliare" stands for "awaken"
and "il Testamento" stands for "testament" Awakening Testament??? ?:)

Pretty thin theory i'd say...what do ya think?

    Over and out -{

ps. UniVex, u wanted a high-quality shot from the original cover?? I'll try to post one,
    when get home.
