Oh and I'm sure that someone that signed in on the QOS TIES thread would love to buy it from you so you can buy the PTS, they'll save 1-2 months.

Bought it at tie deals...he had one left that he did not put up on his website.

You sure it's the right color? I saw one that with a lighter color.

I'm sure. He took pretty good pictures and sent me photos of all of them, including the lighter one you mentioned. I no longer need the PTS tie as I tracked one down at a Tom Ford store.

You mean that they will make it as a made-to-mesure?

Do you have the Tom Ford Item number for the Bolivia tie?
    Thanks.

Do you still have 2 Bolivia tie? I have the all blue-and-purple PTS tie that would be one of the two possible PTS. In fact, I have the black-and-blue and the dark, dark dark purple version. They both have the same effect than in the movie, it will be almost impossible to know which one was used except if we get a confirmation from the Eon stylist, I forgot her name.

I think we're 3 on the forum with those. I was wondering if you'd be interested. If not, I might trade it for another tie or sell it. There are non-ties Bond-related stuff I'm interested in anyway.

I have one correct Bolivia tie. The other two were close but incorrect.

    Richi717,

Do I gather from your last post that you no longer have an extra Bolivia tie (the correct "QoS" version) up for trade?

By the way, what was the TieDeals tomf # of the tie you received from Jorden?

    Kind regards,
    Craig

You are correct, no longer for trade. Even though I have two others that are very similar, I do not want to give someone the wrong tie.

I am now out of the QOS tie hunt now anyhow, as I just recieved the last two that I needed. My PTS and Kazan ties came in today. :D

The code on the tie I received from tiedeals was TFB66 1TK ITA 081. Which I believe is the correct one, as redsleighdown stated the the correct color of the boliva tie is a bronze and rich chocolate, which is what this is. I first opened the tie while I was out on the road, and the light of the sun made it appear lighter then it actually was. So I posted my blog from my blackberry in the qOs tie order thread as the wrong color. A TFB66 swatch was actually provided as a Bond tie from Holden if you can recall.

I do not believe the TFB66 tie code to be the screen used tie. Attached an outdoor photo, not screen used and not therefore having undergone possible colour changes. As you can see, not a hint of 'pink'. Whilst many swatches are often provided to production, not all are used.

There is no pink to be found in the tie I received. I understand that the swatch appears to have pink in it. Maybe it is the lighting of the photo that makes it appear slightly pink, I dont know. Redsleighdown said the tie was bronze and chocolate. I received a bronze and chocolate tie. The swatch had a TFB66 code, I received a tie with the same code. The TFB65 doesn't look bronze to me.

    Richi717,

You picked up the other Bolivia tie from TieDeals back in October, right? Is that the TFB66 tie posted above? As I remember, the TieDeal stock # was tomf90975 - is that correct?

I'd love to see pics of your 3 ties posted together so we can see the difference in colors.

I thought I did, but it was too light. Light gold on a slightly darker gold. I did not keep the sleeve the tie was sent in and did not record the tom ford code. The tie deal stock code you have is right though. Will get all three together in a pic then...

I believe I ended up with the same "lighter" Bolivia tie that you did, but from a different source. The TF style number on the bag was TFB60 1TK D ITA 082.

As for the TieDeal stock numbers, I've noticed no consistency with Jorden's system - I've seen two very different colored ties with the exact same "tomf xxxxx" stock number.

I bought a tie from Raffaello that looked like the real deal and it wasn't. I also bought another one because there was a flat-rate shipping (I'm such a docile customer) and turns out I don't like it either.

Now I'll either have to return it and lose money or keep them. Arg.

    Damn Internet sellers!

I hear ya, toutbrun! Hindsight is going to tell me that it would have been cheaper to just cough up the $300 per tie than gamble with ordering these ties online. I just wish these sellers would post more accurate photos and the style #s. Even at $100 a pop, these suckers add up quick, don't they? :))
