Tom Ford Pocket Squares

Does anyone have any information on the pocket squares that Bond and Dominic Greene wear in QOS? I assume they are all Tom Ford. I found this pic somewhere on styleforum.

I've been trying to hunt down Greene's pocket square. His suit and square are CONFIRMED not to be TF.

Really? I know the suit is Zara (I saw it and the shirt at a Zara store in San Francisco, but sadly it would have rung up at $300), but I've heard that the pocket square was TF.

I wonder if Mantis can help out. I know he found Greene's Perla shirt, so he might be able to identify the pocket square.

Sorry...I am clueless when it comes to his pocket square.

Well suits all look the same - it's hard to be POSITIVE it's a Zara

I doubt production would put a billionnaire worldclass vilain in a 300$ suit...

You mean Hughes played himself in the movie?
Was this film made by EON?

Greene's pocket square definitely looks like Ford's with a big, bold pattern.

Howard Hughes was the richest man on earth and wore the cheapest shoes and dressed like ****. Sometimes billionnaires have cheap clothes. That was my point.

Perhaps but your post missed the point you were trying to make entirely as we are discussing film prodution details and not real life things or persons... Dominic Greene was not intended as a Zara wearing caracter as demonstrated by the rest of his wardrobe and living habits throughout the film...

Again, I am 90% sure that the pocket square is not TF from multiple direct sources. And the suit is 100% CONFIRMED Zara but will never restock in that cut/color combination. A full Zara suit costs around $250 USD.

Are you sure? I saw some suits that looked very similar to it. I hope they still have it, I want to eventually get one.

You don't have to apologize for getting angry at me for being right. It seems that some billionnaires do like cheap clothes sometimes.

I am neither angry nor am I apologizing to you in any way shape or form. I simply pointed out to you that you are off topic with your Howard Hughes comments... production did not put Greene in a Zara suit (providing that they actually did which is, to me, still unconfirmed since no proof of this has ever been put forth) to imply that he was a cheap millionnaire... They did not and the character is not. He actually seems to be quite the opposite! So your point is totally off-base... now move on...

Believe me, I'm not here for arguing about me speaking english or not. Howard Hugues, just like Greene, was obviously deranged. When you can buy anything, it doesn't matter if your suit is worth 10,000 USD or 300 USD. HH, the richest man on earth, was wearing cheap shoes and Greene is wearing cheap suits. It makes sense.

By the way, you should write french with less errors.

Again, Greene was NOT intended to wear cheap suits to enhance this character... keep Hughes out of this because you are using an example that is simply not proper to your argument...

So, I will repeat myself in order for you to understand once and for all: We are discussing film prodution details and not real life things or persons... Dominic Greene was not intended as a 300$ Zara suit wearing character as demonstrated by the rest of his wardrobe and living habits throughout the film...

Again: Greene NOT intented to be a cheap suit wearing character... got it?

Et je préfère mettre le S manquant de mon texte précédant à la fin du mot ÉPAIS!!!!

Please, email me instead of doing this in public. It's uncomfortable for everyone and it's embarrassing for you.

I won't respond anymore on this thread, other that you do not know what Greene wants or likes or was supposed to wear.

I am not interested in the power trips of 16 years old. If you want to know more about me or my background, you can PM me.

    Anyway...

The pocket square may or may not be TF - I don't know! But surely any quality white silk pocket square is up to the job :)

Here is my preferred option from Aspinal of London: http://www.aspinaloflondon.com/eshop-catalogue/mens-collection/clothing-accessories/pocket-square-silk-handkerchiefs/3425-plain-pocket-square-silk-handkerchief-in-white

    Quality and not overly expensive!

It may not be silk. It could be cotton linen.
