Admittedly, this is a bizarre one but does anyone happen to know what brands of scuba equipment Bond has used/worn during his aquatic exploits? I'm trying to find some fins for a forthcoming holiday and was curious

    I know that Ed has identified the spears and all, and I think Mantis has one, but I might be mistaken.

    I know that in the books Bond was very fond of and used 'Champion' harpoons, made in France i do belive they're still available.

    Thunderball used a lot of Voit equipment including wetsuits, masks, fins, tanks, regulators and knives. Spearguns were varied. Ed M has all the info on the spearguns as well as scuba equipment for the other Bond films. He's what I'd consider the Bond prop expert. A genuinely nice guy as well. There are of course other experts here too. They'll chime in I suppose.

    The VOIT diving gear used in "Thunderball" is now very hard to find if not almost impossible...

    And it's a while since I've seen these films but I think in FYEO Scubapro is used a lot, and in LTK Dacor is the main brand (and a small diving knife from Wenoka).

    You are right about Dacor being used in LTK. Last year someone was looking to sell the same model BCD that Bond wears when he sneaks onto the Wavekrest at night.
