Bond/Craig shirt collar

I'm having a couple shirts made. I've got the cuff info, but need collar style. I never knew there were so many!

I don't know what it's called, but just bring a picture in-store. Please note that Tom Ford items are made by Zegna, which, OTR, is my favorite shirt. I went to a store last week to buy a white shirt, and none had the collar Tom Ford has. Even made-to-mesure in big stores might not have it. Very expensive bespoke can make any collar, but a "cheap" made-to-mesure will not.

Robert at T&A in NYC refers to it as a "deep" collar. It's about 1/8" - 1/4" higher in the back.

But I think that maybe most of their shirts do not have the James Bond look. I saw a lot of shirts on the Internet from TF with ugly collars.

I heard that the collars on DC's shirts were made for the film and are quite unusual to find either at a tailors or in any shop.

I guess that a real tailor like Charvet, T&A or an independent tailor could reproduce it.

Apologies but I can't recall where I heard it. That style of collar is quite rare and wouldn't suit everyone I believe.

DC doesn't wear the same style collar other than in QoS, it seems he opts for a standard or smaller collar.

Yeah, I thought I remember reading something about how they measured Craig's face and made a special collar to go with the proportions.

The closest mention I heard to that was from this:

They likely just used something like this template.

I doubt there was anything that special outside of what they'd do for anyone, just used a collar that suits him.

Remember they also specially designed sunglasses for him too. 8-)

I think we should just email the Milan store and ask them to identify the shirt collar. I'm sure the shirt is still available.

I agree with Kittlemeier, I believe these are standard shirt collars. I have a Tom Ford shirt that appears to match the QOS shirt collar and the fabric matches the swatch I have from one the James Bond Archives cards. The card is one with the Greene Party suit and shirt, and my shirt is an off the rack model shirt.
