  my campus has an Earth Day jam every year at one of our outdoor theaters and we raise tons of money for new trees to be planted in this town. always a good time :x

  I lead a conversation class with international students at Arizona State University and we had discussion on Earth Day last night.
  
  Most of the students commented on how people in the USA seem not to care about it. Funny that, since Earth Day got its official start in Philadelphia back in 1970.
  
  It seems we have people on opposite ends of the spectrum here in the US.
  
  Turn off your lights, walk/run/bike to work or at least do something! Take care of earth, or she will take care of you! :v
