Just got my 45mm Omega Planet Ocean 2900.50.91 today. I bought it as a reward due to a recent promotion. I had to order it from Tourneau as they did not have any in stock in any of the stores in my region. It was ordered from the factory with a four to six week wait time. I also redeemed American Express points toward a Tourneau gift certificate. Anyway, I got the call yesterday evening that it was in and picked it up this morning. In my line of work, it's usually the Rolex that's purchased as a result of promotion, but I did that many moons ago in my former career as a Merchant Marine Officer that took me to two combat zones, earned me the Merchant Marine Expeditionary Medal and took me to various ports o' call the world over. Since then several other Rolex watches have made it into my collection. But it was Daniel Craig's portrayal as Bond in Casino Royale that made me want this watch more than any other in a long time. Just like Connery's portrayal as Bond made me want the Big Crown no crown guard Submariner. Enjoy the pictures.

$ 500 for the rubber strap? What about steel bracelet?
What The Mantis mentioned above is absolutley the way to go if you want both straps, mine was a gift from my girlfriend and she just purchased the rubber strab and as it turned out the Jewler had to take the steeel strap off the watch to put the rubber one on so when I called him back I was able to take the steel one off his hands for a steel
I also discovered that I could only use one gift certificate per watch perchase, but the points I redeemed from Amex left me with two certificates. So I can use the other certificate to offset most of the purchase cost of a steel bracelet or I can offset the cost of a Felix Leiter Hamilton Khaki X-Wind a la QOS. Not sure at this point I even want the bracelet because I just love my PO as is. It's very evocative of the way Connery wore his Submariner. Time will tell.

I wear the 45.5mm version in a casual look while reserving the 42mm for wear with suits etc. - the latter fits better under a shirtcuff with cufflinks being a little smaller in size.
