For Sale: Magnoli Royale Boots

Due to an unfortunatly sized foot these boots simply will not fit. I have had them stretched by my local cobbler and they're still too narrow for my foot. They are essentially a size 13 D OR medium and have only been worn a few times to the office. New Magnoli has them for $375. I'll let them go for $295 which will include shipping in the continental US AND I'll throw in a pair of Rochester Wooden Shoe Trees as well to go with them. The leather is top notch and I opted to go with Magnoli's suggestion of getting "oil skin leather" which gives these boots a very nice character. I've also had the bottoms fitted with a "sole guard" for maximum longevity of the leather sole. The heels were also made with a rubber heel cap built into in a similair manner/look of John Lobbs or Church Oxfords.

International buyers please PM via this board or my email ferrissteve@yahoo.com and we can discuss details as needed. I really don't want to put these on "the bay" because I know they're surely has to be Bond fan on this board that will truly enjoy these fine shoes.

A link to Magnoli's page that shows the shoes.

I've had a lot of lookers on this one, any takers? I really do want to clear these out. I'll drop the price to $280 (same deal applies: shoes/trees/con US shipping) and will entertain reasonable offers as well. PM or shoot me an email at ferrissteve@yahoo.com for questions. Thanks.

Tough crowd. As stated before I really do want to clear these out. I'll take $265 for these, which when you factor in Free Continental Shipping, Wooden Shoe trees and the shoes themselves is not a bad deal considering I have well over 400 invested in them already. I will also accept private offers. PM an offer and if its one "I cant refuse" B-) than you might pick up the shoes for considerably less than you thought. Thanks for looking.

Did Magnoli not make them to your correct specs? Seems a shame you have to part with them if they're nice and well made.
  • maxximusmaxximus The U.S.Posts: 173MI6 Agent
Its like anything else that you have made to measure online; there is always the risk of the end product not being 100%. I've purchased quite a bit of merchandise from Magnoli over the years and some pieces required tweeking here and there, and some fit dead on. I think this was a case of me not measuring exactly correctly and the overall narrower toe box design that just doesn't work for someone with a wide foot like myself. And your absolutely correct sir; they are indeed a very nicely made shoe and I hate the fact I cant wear them.
    And they're still available.

I think the problem is you have big feet :)) I don't think 13 is that common, I'm only a 9.
Away at Boot Camp, won't be back until April the earliest.

They don't look like you've wear them only a few times at the office. They look one year old on the third picture.

  • maxximusmaxximus The U.S.Posts: 173MI6 Agent
Well I do have to walk across a parking lot to get to my Aston Martin after work. That 150 foot walk from the door to the car is sure tough on these shoes. :))

Or maybe you're a maniac behind the wheel and that is where the wear comes from! You should get some Tod's mocassins for driving ;)

Not quite a maniac. I just react to the people that cant drive around me :v As far as the shoes themselves I had sole guard put on them to protect the sole, the heels are solid, trees in them from day one, and a polish with leather cream on occassion. Yes these have been baby'd.....kind of sick really. :D

I'm sure loads of folks were interested until they realised they are large enough to be used as canoes. Very few people out there with feet that big :D
