Does any one own a pair Jack Purcells - CR Madagascar chase?

I was interested in trying to find a pair until I discovered it has no arch. How does one walk in it, letalone chase some one down in a pair a shoes with no arch supports?

Errr, quite easily. Most Converse don't have arch supports. Never bothered me and they are really comfortable.

Good luck finding any though, these were going extinct a couple of years ago.

I was not able to find a pair of the hi-tops but I did get the low cuts in the chocolate and paprika combo. They are quite comfortable. I also got a pair of canvas ones in brown. The leather ones are the best. The laces that come with them are much better than the laces that came on the canvas version...but I would recommend the lows if you can't find the hi's.

    What's that in US size?

I think Shaughnessy IS referring to the US size. The largest size I've seen over the last few months is a size 7 US (that is, the leather style, not the canvas). I owned a pair of size 7.5 but sold them on eBay a few months ago - they were a tad too small for me. I've seen the black pair in a size 8, but good luck finding a chocolate/paprika pair - your best bet is on eBay, but they will most likely be used. A pair shows up there every few months.

How do they run? To size, need a size larger, or need a size smaller?

    IMO, true to size.

I bought a pair in my size and they fit well being very comfortable. I remember reading on another thread a while back that several members with these shoes felt some pinching at the toes and opted for a size up. However, from personal experience my pair have caused me no problems at all. Had them around 18 months and I am still wearing them :)

Too worried they will get stolen, seeing as they are out-of-production now :))
