Clothing pieces

Can anyone tell me if the "collector" cards that have small square pieces of wardrobe on them are legit? I don't even know what they are called. I've seen some from Casino Royale and QOS on the net and find it hard to believe costumes from these movies would be cut up and sold like that. Thoughts? Thanks.

Well they must have more than one pair of pants, jackets, etc. so that they can still have one or more to display in museums.

They are legit, find them on eBay but don't overspend on them.

The correct term for such samples is "swatch samples" tailors and other fabric specialists, - upholsterers for example, keep sample books of them to help customers choose the correct fabrics for their clothing / furnishings.

Bear in mind, most main character costumes will be made in multiples. Bond's suits and Vesper's dresses for instance will be duplicated for the actors, stunt doubles, body doubles, and sometimes promotional / charity PR purposes. Usually its screen used items worn by the actors that go to museums / auction because they will sell more.

Toutbrun is right - like any collectable, when it comes to the price, don't go mad!
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?
