Are Sunspel polos worth the money

I would like to get a Sunspel polo but I was wondering if it is worth the money. Does anyone have one and how should I order (size up or size down) ?

To me Sunspel is a real treat, they are to a degree quite a luxurious brand and I have spent hundreds of pounds on their different ranges. The polos are very masculine and to me seem to accentuate upper body muscle. Worth every penny in my opinion and from the moment I bought my first Polo and T-shirt at Sunspel I have not looked back and will probably never buy anywhere else again. Be careful with washing them though, a few of mine have faded quite badly and we were extremely careful whilst washing.

I have the Riviera polo in black. It is size medium (I always buy medium) and it fits a treat. I liked it so much I have recently bought one in navy. While not cheap they are great quality and well worth the money.

I believe on their website it says that the size Small and Mediums are true to size, however the larger sizes give you a bit extra room.
The polo's, and their t-shirts are worth every penny, IMO. If you wait, they normally have a few sales each year.
Just be sure to hand wash it on cold, and hang dry.
Otherwise it will shrink and fade.

I like mine and am glad that warm weather is finally here as the weave is very open and airy.

In addition to my black Riviera polo I have now bought a blue one for the summer. As mentioned above they have a nice open weave (but not see-through in anyway) which makes the great to wear in the summer.

I suspect I will be adding more to my wardrobe in the near future!

If you want to perserve the color in a dark color polo (Black or Midnight blue, or Navy)

    1) Remove the tags when you buy the polo.
    2) Run cold water in your washroom sink, add about a cup of white vinager (260 mL) and wash gently.
    3) Rinse and hang dry.
    4) Once the shirt is dry, wash the shirt in cold water with a gentle detergent in the gentle cycle.
