  I tried to have a custom Thunderball style wetsuit made a while back since original Voit suits are extremely hard to find and harder still to find in orange and in the right size. Although I provided plenty of stills, the main stumbling block was the "smooth skin" neoprene in orange. Vintage style black "beavertail" "smooth skin" is available if you know where to look, but orange is only available in the "rough" knit style of today. Disregarding the rough skin on the suit above, it's still not that accurate. The black trim around the collar, waist and "beavertail" should not be there. Also, the black on all the zippers are too wide. Since it's a custom suit, I'm sure all that could be fixed if you provided the right reference photographs. The real trick would be getting the "smooth skin" neoprene in international orange.
