Hello all,

Just wanted to remind you all that Titan publishing has released the newspaper comic strip Night bird along with the other two strips that were missing from the collection. I can't wait for my copy to arrive, I have thoroughly enjoyed the James Bond comic strips up to this point barring some of the more outlandish stories written by James Lawrence, the American writer who took from Henry Gammidge as the strip progressed.

Got my copy in the mail yesterday. In addition to the strips, the book also contains a forward from Mayraim D'bo an unfinished set of panels for a story penned by James Lawrence, and several pieces of art from other artist who were considered to come and work for the Daily Express on the comic strip.

I highly recommend this volume, the art work from the potential series artists is not to be missed. Also the aborted story by James Lawrence seems pretty interesting. Bond is ordered to investigate who is supplying the IRA with weapons to used in their activities, and it turns out it is the KGB looking to destabilize Great Britain by helping the IRA. I wonder how the story would have developed if the Daily Express had allowed it to continue.

Also if you missed any past books, Titan is reprinting them in Omnibus editions volume #1 (Coming out on September 25) has Casino Royale", "Live And Let Die", "Moonraker", "Diamonds Are Forever", "From Russia With Love", "Dr. No", "Goldfinger", "Risico", "From A View To A Kill", "For Your Eyes Only" and "Thunderball". Volume #2 (coming out on September 28) contains "You Only Live Twice", "The Man With The Golden Gun", "The Spy Who Loved Me", "Octopussy" and many more. I also highly recommend the Colonel Sun adaptation, it plays out just like a film adaptation would have back in the late 60's or early to mid 1970's.
