Nice work! Very cool. I was there almost ten years ago for my honeymoon. My wedding anniversary will be here in a matter of months and thought about going back to Nassau to celebrate it. I have pictures of myself coming up the stairs by the sea wall and have a piece of it too. However, I was permitted access to the grounds of "Palmyra" (Rock Point). I have pictures of myself slinking along the wall like Bond where he makes a guard fall flat on his face, the main pool, the shark pool, and a picture coming out of the storage area where Paula Kaplan takes the cyanide pill. I even have pictures of myself with one of the grounds keepers. I also have soil from Rock Point, a piece of the shark pool wall, and a survey (map) of the property. The survey is for an eventual scale model of the property and for a reference for the map (Pinder's Shop) used by Bond to find out what happend to Paula.

Here's a great Thunderball website for those who haven't already seen it. Awesome then and now pics for a lot of the locations:

I remember Largo offering Bond a Rum Collins, but what scene was the Cafe Martinique in?

Where did you guys stay when you were there? Any recommendations or thoughts on travel there?

I wish I had a video camera when I got a private tour of Goldeneye a few years back! I was thinking of going back to Jamaica this Summer, but I've never been to the Bahamas...

As always, thanks for the inspiration David! It suddenly feels like a Rum Collins and Thunderball night! B-)

Mantis I love watching the video casts. Except no more man boobies please.:)) Just find a hot bond girl in an orange bikini to pose for all of us.

    Keep up the good work.

Great job guys...every one of you: Mantis, Joe, Simon...Looks like you had a great time putting it together as well. I didn't realize that wall was so close to Atlantis. Keep 'em comin'.

Been to Nassau many times over the years, and never tire of seeing the Bond sites. Your reaction to them reminds me of mine each time I made a new discovery, or managed to get into someplace not normally open to the public. One slight correction, though- the current Cafe Martinique at Atlantis has little to do with the one seen in the film, other than its name and the fact that they are both located on Paradise Island. The original was torn down when Atlantis did its expansion for the Royal Towers and Marina- and a Bond landmark was lost forever! Unfortunately, very little Bond history at the current restaurant and, if I recall from my last visit there, no real homage to Bond anywhere in the restaurant or on the menu. But it is a VERY excellent restaurant. And I have LOVED the videos so far- looking forward to your next one!
