00 prefixes for both were chosen for obvious reasons, but mainly to stop people adapting a plaque to a different number after market.
In addition to the above a very limited number of Artist Proofs or AP's are produced as part of the production process for each item. These are used internally as proofs to check fit and finish but also as contractually obligated samples that have to be supplied to the Licensor under the terms of our agreement. Because its confidential we cannot tell you how many, but very very few (we have to give them away so we make as few as possible) Sadly they are not for sale. They are all numbered AP-01 AP-02 etc.

The lighter has the correct 'blank' area where the Colibri logo was seen on some of the props (not all) Sadly Colibri is in administration and no agreement could be reached that would allow us to include the logo on the replica, but obviously we have no control over what individual owners may or may not choose to do. For the eagle eyed among you the gun shown in the video is AP-01 and has the lighter lid on upside down. The flat area is incorrectly on the bottom. This error was noted and corrected on the finished production run, and is the very reason AP's exist.
Another succint reply from Barry, at least I'll get two bites at getting a 00 then, although knowing my luck I'll get 399 & 999 respectively. Still, off to Vegas next month, think I'll try the Water Balloons in Circus Circus. :007)

Firstly, prop replicas are described as an 'informed purchase', they are not something people decide to pick up on a whim. Secondly a lot of misleading hype and selective reporting goes on in the business regarding edition sizes and sell outs, which we do not want to get involved in. Thirdly, Bond is only in the news at the moment for all the wrong reasons and is sadly not on many peoples radar.
We are very very pleased with the response. Over 75% of the SE sold out in the first 48hrs and there have been nice strong consistent sales since. Today we have very little stock of the SE remaining. In fact Blofeld in OHMSS could not count them if he used all his fingers and toes.
Anybody who is still thinking about it probably should not take too long. When they are gone, they are gone. there will be no future re-issues.
The same is true of the LE, although difficult to accurately forecast as the item is available wholesale through retailers and many resellers have yet to actually place their orders with us, so we do not know how many they are going to request. If they request more than we have available they are allocated on a strictly first come first serve basis after all direct orders (through us) have been fulfilled. The pot of available 'free' product is diminishing daily.
Does anybody else think it is unfair that we cannot apply the $10 discount coupon to our pre-ordered replicas? Get this, so the coupon expires October 31st 2010. We know that Factory Entertainment isn't going to come out with another James Bond replica by then, so why can't we apply the coupon to our pre-orders that we have not fully payed off yet? I pre-ordered the DSE Golden Gun and SE Jaw's Teeth during the very first hour that we could, and all that's left are Solitaire's Tarot Cards, but because they aren't $50, I can't even apply the coupon to that. I think our faith and loyalty should be rewarded, because how is it fair that somebody, who hasn't purchased anything other than the SDCC Q-Branch Golden Gun Blue Print and has the coupon right now, could apply it to a pre-order of the replicas that we have already faithfully pre-ordered immediately? Personally I'd say that the coupon should have 1 of 3 options changed. Either 1) Allow it to be applied to existing orders that have not yet shipped, 2) Extend the expiration date til more 007 Replicas are on the scene, or 3) Allow it to be used on any order, regardless on if it is more than $50. Any feed back would be much appreciated.
I'm with you the coupon should at the very least be extended. I am in the same boat as you I ordered the GG when it first came availible and when they announced the blueprint I thought it woud be cool to get it to go with the GG but the coupon is totally useless. I was a little disappointed when I saw the coupon was only good til the end of october.

The price was a little steep if you include the tax but hope it will be the crowning piece of my collection. I collect films in general but have always gravitated to the Man with the Golden Gun and mainly Roger Moore JB films. Can't wait to get it and hope it's as good as every one is saying.
A discount coupon? hmm... i ordered the blueprint along with the SE GG and Solitaire's cards,

Please remember that the blueprint was a San Diego Comic Con 2010 exclusive, designed to be sold at the event only. The discount coupon included with it and our other convention exclusive print was designed to attract business at Comic Con on all products across our range and is not specific to any brand.
After the event we made a very limited number of the remaining prints after the show available to purchase due to public demand, for those people who wanted to obtain the print but did not attend the show. We have not repacked the prints in in any way and so the coupons are still included in the envelopes but should really only be considered an artifact from Comic Con.
In other words you are not buying the coupon you are buying the print. We could have removed the coupons but we felt that people would prefer to receive their prints in unopened sealed envelopes exactly as they would have done at Comic Con. There is also the fact that the coupons remain valid until the end of October for any new purchase over $50 and we have a number of items available that they can be applied to. But they cannot be applied retroactively to an existing sale.
We are not trying to be difficult here, and we are sorry if anybody feels cheated. That was not the intention, but this is standard practice for the logistics of this type of coupon and a function of how it is actually applied. Coupon codes have to be applied at check-out and with pre-orders even though you have not been charged the full amount you have still completed the checkout process.
I really appreciate your clarification, but can you understand why we would find it unfair if somebody recently bought the Print, and then pre-ordered, let's say, the Golden Gun LE to use the discount, when those of us, who had the most faith in Factory Entertainment, pre-ordered the Golden Gun DSE and Jaws' Teeth SE on day one, and then recently bought the print with an almost unusable coupon? I have trusted Factory Entertainment since the beginning, despite having no previous record or reputation. I think that alone would qualify us to use the $10 coupon. I'm not saying we should be entitled to use it, i just think it would be an act of good faith to allow us to use them. I know it's not a HUGE deal, but I just don't see how it would be a problem to allow the use of them, I mean it's only about 1.5% off the Golden Gun DSE, 2.22% off the Golden Gun LE, and 5% off the Jaws' Teeth SE, so I just don't understand how that little of a price loss would negatively affect FE, personally, I think allowing us to use our coupons, would only assure us that we want to continue purchasing from you, as your line of 007 prop replicas continues to expand.
I was wondering........ Does the SE GG come with the two pictures of Sir Roger Moore and Sir Christopher Lee? The two pictures used to illustrate the signing of the plaques would make a nice edition to my display. I didn't see them listed in the inventory.

Every replica in our Bond range comes with a 'Prop Story Book' each with an identical 'gun metal' cardboard outer cover bearing the 007 logo.
Inside this cover is a full color booklet that tells the story of the specific prop and the manufacturing of the replica and also includes the COA , credits, trivia and host of other info.
The golden gun booklet runs to 8 pages. We hope owners find it interesting reading

talking about delivery dates,jaws teeth are due to ship in september according to the web site.as we are going into the last week of september is this still the case,or are they delayed
Everyone, I believe that GGs will be shipped before or at the same time as the teeth and cards, but not before. And I am sure the delay is due to FE wanting everything to be absolutely spot on for their debut piece.
I think we just need to be patient. If there were another delay I think FE would have changed the date on their website before October got here, like they did last time when they changed it late August to October. Then again I could be wrong.
