Be aware that the silver tie is way different than the Magnoli non-silver tie. The latter is way better. I say that because this is your first post, I just want to make sure you understand the difference between the two.

If this what you're saying is true (Don't get me wrong, i'm not questioning your stating)
and if i'd have authority to do so - I would ban this person for good, for life without chance to parole ;)

BTW, you have 45 days with Paypal to open a claim. If you don't receive something, ALWAYS OPEN A CLAIM because after that your money is gone.

Well he DID buy the two ties from me, and he didn't really like them I guess, so I thought he was honest and he would sell them honestly. I don't see why he would lose his reputation over a 15 GBP tie. But maybe we don't have the same sense of honor.

Bizarre, especially if he scammed for 15 quid!!!

Im in the process of sorting out a deal gone wrong from another forum, learnt my lesson from not putting in a Paypal claim on time!

you can put a PayPal claim, but won't get a compensation, if it's not an ebay deal.

As far as I can see, the seller is still active here on the board though.

Not true. You can get compensation on any Paypal transaction, as long as it's for goods or services, not gifts.

However, if Paypal is not able to find the money in the seller account or credit cards, they won't dig in their pocket.

i did complain sent lots of emails no reply tried going the paypal route with no luck. It was just by chance that i saw the thread today and wanted fellow members to know and if you read the old thread i wasnt the only one that was scammed. I know its only £15 but its the principle. Thanks for all the advice but i did try without any luck.

I wasn't on this forum from the beginning, but this is the first thing of this kind I hear here. Anyone has another horror story like this?
