    Interesting transition scenes Mantis...

I've tried finding stuff at Target, but haven't had much luck. I think the Target in my area isn't as good as yours.

There's a small smile right after we see your shorts that's to die for.

Target is my source for the Bond look. I could never (well, barring a change in profession) afford the actual Bond look, so I've used Targets (and the New Zealand shop Farmers) to case out my Bond look for a few years now. Great videocast, it gave me even more ideas.

    Thanks!

The Mantis is putting together 5 star productions as far as entertainment goes with his video podcast. I really loved the previous ones but this Target one had me in stitches.

Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see the next one.

Thank you, gang...yeah, the Target one was a fun one for sure. My 14 year old daughter filmed it and the one rule I told her was NEVER stop flming even if Security comes...actually, ESPECIALLY if Security comes do not stop filming. But low and behold the employees just watched us and smiled excitedly.

It probably helped that the person filming was a 14 year old ;)

I had to go to Target after watching but alas it was the under-stocked Mall Target which I never go to. I need to hit the Super Target out south today.

Why isn't there no Target in Canada? It feels like everyone on earth has ice cream and we don't.

Is a Target store in the US similar to say a Matalan store in the UK?

I think it is best to think of an amalgamation of Matalan and Primark.

Never been to Matalan but I'd only ever trust Primark with socks.

Brilliant video podcast by the way -- I think a challenge would be throwing together a Bond villain outfit in a store like that B-).

Just bear in mind that finding the "Bond Lifestyle" means different things on different sides of the Atlantic.

I've never come across a Brit Bond fan who believed you could find "the Bond Lifestyle" in stores of THAT nature.

Cheap, similar items, yes. But nothing that would permit you to live the "Bond Lifestyle" as it's understood this side of the Pond.

But dressed in your new Matalan gear, you could pop to Southend and pretend it is the Bahamas :v :D

Premier Inn is a hotel. It has bedrooms.

    As does the Ocean Club.

And cheer up, DZ. Only having a bit of fun.

No worries, Dave. Although, I think people on both sides of the "pond" would have disagreed with you...that is, if you had been serious.

As serious as you were with your statement on the video that you think you can find the James Bond Lifestyle anywhere.

I just happen to think it's a bit more exclusive, rightly or wrongly.

Mr Z, nice work once again!

I am sorry to say I have been a bit preoccupied as of late, (so I have missed a lot of the pod casts so far, but since the telly is crap, I can use my viewing time catch up with them at Bond Lifestyle.

Out of all the ones you have done, I think this is the most critical one in these cash strapped times we are now going through. Bond by the nature of who he is lives the high life, something most of us couldn't do before and certainly won't be able to do ongoing. So its good to see public recognition that elements of Bond's life are affordable to all, if they are prepared to look properly for it. We still need to enjoy that feel good factor of the characters life to some degree!

While I remember, have you had any media / presentation skills training? You have a natural narrative flair which gives all the podcasts I have seen a proper professional approach. Even if you did fudge the end of this one a bit! :D

Please keep them coming, - with Bond 23 on the shelf for the foreseeable future its nice to see there is some Bond entertainment going on!
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

By profession I am often the pitch lead for the direct marketing company I work for (sort of Don Draper but much uglier) so in a sense I guess you could call that training. :)

Yeah, Don Draper, I love that show Mad Men. It's just a bloody soap opera, but set in a cool time period. I think it's back on this month.

At your lead sir I headed over to Target the other day and picked up some retro Connery shades. The wife loves them, especially when I combine them with me appropriate time period piece hat, 50s style shorts and a blue polo. Bond for under $50 for sure thanks to Target! :007)
