Hi All

I believe the Rolex Submariner models 5512 and 5513 both appeared on the wrist of Bond during a number of movies. Can anyone confirm which movies each featured in and how commonly encountered these are on the second-hand market?

Thanks in advance!

    Cheers GM, much appreciated :)

I didn't think about the 5510 - another one for me to look up!

Had a 5513 for 28 years (thanks, Dad). OHMSS, LALD, TMWTGG (though there is a rare publicity navy-unform photo of Rog for Spy wearing a 5513).

    THE greatest watch. Ever.

    Hi David

I absolutely love the 5513! Only recently I was viewing several for sale online and thought one day I would definately like to purchase one as a wearable collectors piece - as you say it is an amazing watch! Was the 5513 not also the model worn by Steve McQueen - the King of Cool himself?

    Hope so!

Wear mine with my white Triumph "Steve McQueen" edition T shirt as often as I can.

With dark brown chukkas and pale blue Levi 501s.

    Who needs Bond?

    :))

Bond and McQueen - surely it does indeed deserve the title "coolest watch of all time". No doubt other famous faces have worn this model too - time to check out Jake's Rolex Blog!

I feel the need to start saving for one right now! :s

That's a cool T-Shirt. I like the Bud Ekins Great Escape "Jump" T-shirt that used to be availale at Johnson Motors. Bud Ekins doubled McQueen for the jump and was also a riding buddy of McQueen.
