    My guess is that he will end up buying his own tie to save face. Anyhoo, eBay is certainly the right forum to find the kind of deal tout is looking for. Perhaps the trendy son of some oil magnate will take it off his hands at that price!

    Whether you think the price is realistic or not the fact remains he is within his rights to advertise the tie for sale at whatever price he wishes. If no one is prepared to pay that much money for it then it wont sell. If someone really wants it and can afford it (there are some rich people out there afterall) then it will sell. In other words if you don't like it just ignore it!

    I love the colour & pattern of the PTS tie, but that's an outrageous asking price! Over 3x retail! I'm a little suspicious about the whole "less than 10 available worldwide" claim as well. I'll be genuinely shocked if someone actually buys it at that price. In any case, I think I'll just wait for Magnoli to produce a much more affordable replica.
