Not strictly sure if this is the correct place to post this... but.... They Were Not Divided a war film staring Bond alumni Desmond Llewelyn (Q) and Christopher Lee (Scaramanga) is available to watch on the BBC iPlayer.

If I remember correctly this film was directed by Terrance Young. Sometime after it was filmed Young was looking for an actor to play "Q" after Peter Burton, (who protrayed Major Boothroyd in Dr No), was not available. Young remembered Llewelyn, and the rest, as they say is histroy.

The film is available to watch, until 24 August at the following location: http://beta.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00tgdkn/They_Were_Not_Divided/

Synopsis

World War Two drama. Two men enlisted in the Welsh Guards form a friendship that carries them through the tedium and trials of the war in Europe.

Also this film has Anthony Dawson who played Professor Dent in Dr. No, and the body and hands of Blofeld in From Russia With Love and Thunderball. Another Bond Alumni seen in the film is Micheal Brenan who appeared in Thunderball as Janni one of Largo's henchman.

    So quite the Bond list.

Speaking of Desmond Llewelyn did anyone notice his son Justin on Celebrity Masterchef? He was described as a Champagne Ambasador - I believe he works for Tatinger. He was one of the guests being served a rather nice looking meals this evening at an exclusive Chateau dinner.
