So this made me wonder do us Bond fans consider words like official and licenced when we purchase our 007 goodies or are we just happy with the end products?
For me, it all depends on the product in question. When I saw the original post, I was a little shocked that someone with as much high street presence as Primark had been so bold/daft. I have to assume that it is licenced merchandise because I can't see someone like Primark flounting the licencing laws so openly and on such a large scale.
When you boil it down, unlicenced stuff can be damaging for the industry as a whole. We're all aware of the impact pirate videos etc has on the entertainment market, however there are some items you simply can't buy officially (artwork such as the MI6 desktops, unobtainable props like business cards and paperwork or jewellery for instance).
Personally, I don't mind Primark flogging their T shirts (in best natalya voice "go on, sell them, it means nothing to me), hell I might even wander into town and get one myself. You can't stop people making stuff to flog, but I think the major thing to bear in mind is the scale of said operations. I don't think people like FE for instance need worry about people making their own stuff, as its never going to be on a scale of their nature, or dare I say it of their quality? (we live in hope) and thats not me saying the stuff i've seen made by fans is crap, I've seen some absolute goregous pieces of work (the majority), but also some absolutely appalling stuff too. People will always want the official stuff, its more of an investment.
So in summary, if its not licenced, I think Primark are going to get a slap. Buy while you still can lol. -{

And there's of course this one, but I think you all knew this one already. I have this one myself, it's very nice!
