Connery Goldfinger country house suit question

In the new 007 mag Connery tribute issue at page 20, a picture taken from GOLDFINGER shows a close-up head shot of Connery wearing a light grey 3 piece suit made of Prince-of-Wales fabric. I always thought (and our friend Indy Magnoli thought so too I am sure when he designed his replica) that the famous Golfinger country house scene 3 piece suit was mabe from a grey-silver melange fabric. But this rare picture clearly shows a light grey Prince-of-Wales fabric. Which is it? Is the suit in the picture a unused suit made for the movie (pattern is the same with lapeled vest and everything). Can anyone shed light on this?

It is definitely a light gray prince-of-wales check. If you watch the GF Blue-ray then you can see some clear shots of the fabric (esp in the scene when Bond is on GF's jet).
