As a collector for a number of years, I can say that factory-sealed boxes (or cases) definitely add some value to an item. From the photo you posted above, it looks like your item has been out of the original box, unless that's not your photo. Be very cautious how you word your descriptions when selling collectible items. "Never been out of the original box" means there should be no sign(s) of the item ever being removed from the original packaging - that includes of course simply removing the item to take a photo.
Now I have no idea if these items originally came from the factory in a sealed box (either with tape on the ends or plastic-wrapped), but if there was indeed a seal that was broken, you must sell this item as an open box. I've seen so many people purchase items that have been factory-sealed, and then they open them "just to verify that the contents are inside." That is the worst thing a collector can do! Never open an item that is factory-sealed - it will only devalue it; unless of course your intent is not to sell it in the first place.
Hope this little rant helps.
Kind regards,
Craig
