james bond clothing on a budget

If your like me and are not James Bond you probably cant afford all the Tom Ford and armani leather jackets that are on the market, but be patient the deals are out there you just have to hunt reaaly good. For starters the golf jacket bond wears in the motorcycle scene can be found at a fraction of the price from sears,I know sears sells a covington golf jacket for about 40 dollars instead of the 400 dollar price tag of the one he wears inQOS.for the shukka boots he dons in the same movie go check out a GPX brand that can be found at ebay for 50 bucks instead of the 200 dollar ones bond ownes. If you like the sunspel polo and who doesnt I would stick with sunspel but walmart actually sells a cotton weaved polo for about 10 dollars,WOW thats what i said too,the omega watches are great but who has 2000 bucks, get an invicta 9211 speedway or the armitron pro diver for about 80 dollars. These are all good deals I should know it took me forever to put my wardrobe together so I hope these ideas were of some help.Wait i forgot about the Tom Ford 108s shades in QOS awsome glasses for 300dollars but sunglasswarehouse sells them for 15 bucks just type in James Bond in the search location and they are there in a different variety of colors, happy hunting.

Its very much possible to replicate Bonds choice of expensive clothing and accoutrements without breaking the bank. I have found the secret is being very selective and acquiring originals of items that truly will bring the wearer happiness. I spent a small fortune on a few watches, however every day I wear one of them I smile and don't regret the expenditure whatsoever. I've spent an equally sizeable fortune on suits, shirts, and shoes etc. However given what I do for work the costs were not only justified, but have been paid off. The bottom line is trying to dress as the worlds most renowned super spy does not come cheaply, so where do you best put your money. My answer has and will continue to be: a good tailor. I've seen more high end suits ( Brioni, Zegna, Kiton etc.) absolutely butchered because the wearer neglected to visit a tailor outside of where it was purchased. A proper fitting suit will look infinitely more classy, and in better taste than an ill fitting brand named one. So even though you might not be able to purchase Tom Ford or Brioni you can certainly look a lot closer to the part by spending some time and yes money with a good tailor. I hope this post helps those out there that want to achieve the Bond look without having a second mortgage to afford it. And if you do decide that the original is what you want, go after it and don't look back.

The above is absolutely true, and luckily, so is the reverse... a modestly priced suit can look like a million bucks with proper tailoring. There is a great blog called "Affordable Bond" that lists dozens of budget suggestions for various bond items... definitely check it out!

That tip about a good tailor being more important than an expensive suit is golden, Maxximus. One of these days I'll get a custom bespoke suit tailored from whole cloth.

Amazon has a sale on Brioni suits right now. 88% off on some of them. I just picked up a white linen suit like the one in TWINE for $189.

"Bianco Brioni" isn't the same Brioni that dressed PB and DC in the movies.

I am aware of that. This is a Bond on a budget topic. I just thought some of the people on this site would like a $1700 suit for under $200. I was just saying that I bought something that looked similar. I apologize , Mac.
