I like most the TB ring, especially in hand of gorgeous Luciana Paluzzi :x
And also YOLT ring as it's quite similar as seen in TB. -{

Teppo – have to do some research to find photos, but the design is very similar – difference is eyes (TB version is more evil) and the arms of the octopus – YOLT – “strait arms”, TB – arms with small hooks on (don’t know what it is called in English)

Teppo – have to do some research to find photos, but the design is very similar – difference is eyes (TB version is more evil) and the arms of the octopus – YOLT – “strait arms”, TB – arms with small hooks on (don’t know what it is called in English)

Right Teppo – you can argue that the TB is a bit bigger than the YOLT version, but you are comparing a females hand to a mans hand…sooo but the bottom of the ring is the same in FRWL, TB and YOLT.. perhaps others have comments on it…

Well... the good news is that an officially licensed and accurate replica of the SPECTRE ring might be available shortly so we are keen to see the results of this poll.

logic dictates we start at the beginning though right?

No official announcement yet. Not least because we've learned and listened from Wave I

I look forward to your letters about delays and ordering it from un-named other retailers faster and cheaper

Now this may start an argument.... but

Based on our research there are only 3 styles (plus an additional for the must not be named non-Eon Bond)
1) FRWL
2) YOLT/TB
3) DAF

According to official sources the YOLT and TB rings were identical. We had always thought that they were different,. 1 gold and 1 mother of pearl/white. One for Largo and one for standard SPECTRE agents But apparently they are both gold. Its just that the gold was highly polished and appears white in some scenes due to heavy studio lighting.

We have yet to 100% confirm this, and any thoughts or advise is greatly appreciated. I have spent a lot of time looking at this and there are certainly some official TB stills where Largo's 'white' ring is clearly gold. Studio lighting is very harsh and does funny things to color so its feasible. But it is also not uncommon for different props to switch between location and studio or A and B crews on a set. So anything can happen.

Would love to hear the AJB' feedback on this.

FYI - I want to do a series of ALL the SPECTRE rings, hence why we are considering starting with FRWL so that we can release them chronologically. -{

In my opinion the prop TB ring is white paint, but , Id rather have a replica ring with Mother of Pearl, I have seen a painted one from them dodgy lot in Argentina and it is pooh

Here is a picture of my mother of pearl TB SPECTRE ring...I think the m.o.p really makes it pop...I have two other different rings that are gold and tested them under different lights but was unable to photograph them to look anything BUT gold....hmmm....

mother of pearl would be nice i guess, but i don't recall any screen shots where it really looks like it.

i'd go with white enamel instead.

So Barry, as it's Christmas I thought I'd give you my wish list with regard to rings and see what Santa brings next year. The list is chronological, not in order of preference.

1. SPECTRE Ring
a) FRWL
b) TB (Mother of Pearl gets my vote)
c ) YOLT
d) DAF

2. Auric Goldfinger's Ring

3. Tracy's Wedding Ring (in White and Yellow 'Gold', with correct wording)

4. Q's Fruit machine ring

5. Francisco Scaramangas rings

6. Bond's Camera ring

7. Bond's Sonic ring

This is off the top of my head, there may be more, please chime in.
