Bond Collectors Gathering

Ok, folks. The following are the details of the Bond Holiday Gathering. For those of you who haven't attended these in the past, essentially this is an excuse to get like-minded Bond enthusiasts together for one day amongst the holiday chaos. A day JUST FOR US! Although it is the day after New Years Eve many of you said you could pick yourselves up for an event like this and let's face it, usually New Years DAY is a quiet day....so why not fill it with Bond! There will be good food, good fun, and good friends. It is an excellent opportunity to show off your toys, trade some unwanted treasures, and simply let down your collective Bond-hair. Please respond yo DZaritsky@msn.com if you can attend.

When: Saturday, January 1st at 1 PM
Where: My house!
Newtown, PA 18940
RSVP to: DZaritsky@msn.com

Lunch, Drinks and Snacks will be served throughout the day!

Wish I could attend. I take it you'll have the classic available? Three measures of Gordon's, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet, shaken over ice with a thin slice of lemon peel?
    Things I hate:
    1. People who hate things.
    2. Irony.
    3. Lists.

Wow, about time, Mantis. A date I think I can make. I'll do a little coordinating and email to your RSVP if I can make it. Looking forward to this.
Bond: "But who would want to kill me, sir?"
M: "Jealous husbands, outraged chefs, humiliated tailors . . . the list is endless."

Jimmy – there is a very very very good chance that we do an international summer party – whit homemade props – girls, drinks and and and – suggestion for theme “goldfinger”… I will post a separate thread on the “event page” – for possible attendance and to see how many who think it would be fun...

Is the invitation open to those registered here that post once in a while, and not necessarily live on here?

I'm about 45 min away and could definitely swing it.

Of course...I pay NO attention to post count...45 minutes is TOO close to miss this...what else are we going to do on New Years Day???
  • BozzltovBozzltov Posts: 89MI6 Agent
The logic in that is spot on! I'll shoot an official email in a few days once I figure some stuff out.

At a church conference New Year's Eve in Atlanta - sigh.

The Mantis and agent helpers are excellent hosts - you won't want to miss this.

I'd love to plan a summer event in advance for 2011 - perhaps up to a full Bond cruise or Bond gathering in a port of call - what is the interest level out there?

    David,
Glad you liked the invitation card I did. That's starting to become a tradition...LOL
I wish I could make it as well but will be there in spirit.
Luckily, David lives close enough that I don't have to wait until he has a bond gathering to visit him.
I know everyone attending will have a fabulous time!!!!!

And as we ALL know Ed, it is preferable to face the combined might of SPECTRE and Quatum, unarmed than to go up against the wife when she's on one :o
