Okay, the price is finalised at £196 shipped to your location.

If everyone could please let me know that that's alright, so I can get back to the company and give them the go ahead. It's a 50% deposit at the start, and 50% on completion.
    Works for me!

What do you guys think about having the cufflink double-sided? Rather than with a different backing, just the same—but smaller.

I'm not sure, to be quite honest. I think I prefer a more standard fitting but if it looks good I could be easily swayed! :007)

I've only heard back from two out of the fifteen who put their names on the list. Please get back to me if you won't or don't want a set at that price so I know numbers.

    Cheers.

I'm definitely in, but is the price quoted for their fitting, the ST Dupont fitting or the smaller coffin fitting. Ideally I'd prefer the ST Dupont fitting, but would go for the smaller coffin in preference to their fitting if it came down to it.

Are we decided on what the finished article is going to look like and what it is going to be made of?

    Do we have any pictures?

For less than £200, I'm in.
    Of course you are
  • MacMac Glasgow, ScotlandPosts: 143MI6 Agent
It's solid sterling silver and it will have a toggle back much like S.T. Dupont back.

No pictures yet, but I hope to have some pictures of the wax model within two weeks. I just need numbers before the end of the week.

hey chaps, new to the forum but count me in for a pair of these cufflinks too. Bought the pair on ebay and they were not very good to day the least. I'd happy pay £200 for these.

    Hi guys,

We're looking at about 7th March for the sample to be made by, then another few weeks for the final cufflinks. I am going to begin taking payments now—my PayPal address is payment@macguitars.co.uk. If people who have not put their name down, would like to be included in this order, just shoot £196 over to my PayPal and mention the cufflinks in the notes section.

Thanks again guys, and I'm really excited about this!

    -Mac.

Please also leave your username in the notes section if you have one. NO PERSONAL PAYMENTS.
  • owemanoweman Posts: 4MI6 Agent
brilliant, did we manage to get any pictures of the ones that are being made? I would really like to see what we are going to get before committing.

    Thanks and good effort chaps.
  • MacMac Glasgow, ScotlandPosts: 143MI6 Agent
No, since nothing has been made there will be no pictures until they are made. However, I've given accurate measurements of all parts so they should turn out as expected.

    Thanks,
    Mac.

All payments must be in by the end of February. £196 to payment@macguitars.co.uk, please.
  • The Bond VivantThe Bond Vivant SeendPosts: 1,347MI6 Agent
Can we just confirm, is the price quoted for their fitting, the ST Dupont-style fitting, or the smaller coffin fitting?
  • MacMac Glasgow, ScotlandPosts: 143MI6 Agent
It will most likely be a smaller coffin fitting. However, we could perhaps address this on an individual basis.
  • 007DAN007DAN CheshirePosts: 99MI6 Agent
Mac, sorry for the delay in responding. I'll have my money over to you by Friday.

Mac, my paypal accept has messed up. Is there another way I can get the money to you?
    Of course you are
  • MacMac Glasgow, ScotlandPosts: 143MI6 Agent
Yes, you can do it via bank transfer. I will email you details.

EVERYONE ELSE PLEASE GET PAYMENT IN. I WILL SEND EMAILS TONIGHT.

Wrote to Mac that if you guys need my order and if I don't order you won't get them, I would, but I would rather wait to see if I like them and buy them from a member that maybe wouldn't want them anymore after a while.

I thought they would be platinum plated for that price. Sterling solid silver is not cheap by any means though. But for that price, they are not even SD Duponts. So resell value might be not so good.
