Well guys you all saw the photos of my unwell Golden Gun & the suggestion was raised that perhaps I was slightly ham fisted? or a Klutz in common speak.
I have just had a contact from Tom Vargas of Factory Entertainment in the US requesting photographic evidence which could be studied & forwarded to the factory in China. The result, Mr Vargas was incredibly apologetic and shocked at the condition of certain aspects of the prop and has assured me replacement parts will be furnished ASAP. He can't say or do much more than that. I look forward to now receiving a prop replica of a standard which has kept me salivating in anticipation for the last year, hopefully before Chrimbo?
Additionally Jaws Teeth (no: 58) arrived after UK Customs had their festive fun with charges. As expected the box was slightly battered which meant the glossy presentation box had a few unsightly dings. The prop itself is small and therefore understated but it has a feel of quality about it, it has the weight the Golden Gun is lacking. The display is not overpowering so the teeth fill (pardon the pun) the pod better than the GG filled its acrylic display. The information in the prop information booklet also appears to be correct (unless you know different?), so all in all a really nice prop replica and a great price for a signature collectible and for me better value than the GG even though the signatures of the two knights of the realm takes some beating unless of Course Mr Connery, Craig, Lazenby or Dalton would be up for a signed prop replica?
