Worst Bond choices

I was wondering if you guys had any bad lifestyle choices from Bond in mind. To me, choosing the Smirnoff Vodka is quite a mistake, since it's one of the worst vodka, especially for drinking when not mixed.

Would there be any other examples?

The biggest offender in my book was the Ford Focus in Casino Royale.

    Tom Ford suits
That's a Smith & Wesson, and you've had your six.

Ouch. Thought the Ford suits had a sharp look myself.
Though I can understand where the Ford comment comes to mind. Bond was always well dressed, but not necessairly the most expensive dressed. The latest Bond certainly blew the latter out of the water. 10k for one of Ford Suits....really?

But I have to agree that the Ford Focus was certainly not in keeping with Bond.

I was ok with the Ford Mondeo. A believable pick as a rental.
Brosnan was born to look good in a suit, Craig looks a little awkward.

Yep the Vodka's are only one up from store name brands. And is especially bad when shotted unmixed. How Bond got out of bed to partake in the carpark chase after a bottle of Smirnoff is beyond me... But I suppose the marketing money speaks higher than 007's tastes these days.
Sean's blue terry-toweling jumpsuit in GF is hilarious, but a bit unBond.

Where do you start with a question like this?

Pretty much all the obvious choices made that had to do with selling lots of products or making the films appeal to a large general audience: Obvious product placements, Bad booze choices, all the cars from the same manufacturer, crappy digital watches, Pandering to the US consumer, The whole "Sheriff JW Pepper" story line, whacky "Smokey and the Bandit" stunts, (Wait a minute, I'm from the US and I loved Smokey and the Bandit... but I wanted something else from Bond.), Bad 70s fashion (Yeah, the terry romper SC sported in GF was bad, but RM had to wear flares, safari jackets and digital watches!), Bad 80s fashion (the Bond girls really suffered here).

The Mondeo which Bond has driven is a Titanium Sport version an costs about 30k pounds. It is produced since 2010 (weird), anyway - not a bad choice for a rental car.

yeah, tbh the mondeo didn't really phase me, besides it was onscreen for all of what? 10 seconds?

to be honest, one of the biggest choices for me would be the vodka martini. for me, its a very acquired taste and its not something i'd personally go for regularly.

besides, order one anywhere and all you get is a bartender rolling his eyes at you and the phrase 'shaken, not stirred right?'

The Mondeo is a soul-less box for reps. Bond should have had something different. Hell, in the Bahamas a beaten-up Mini Moke would have been more in-keeping. It was agonisingly cold product placement. A taxi would have been more realistic, especially with the short distance involved.

Agreed, it could have been realistic to Bond grab a cab or rent a Moke or bike perhaps ;)
