    The gear box certainly ruined the Vanquish. Certainly not a good idea to have to do many steep hill starts in one. My best mate has a DB9 and the engine on that is noisy enough - the rumble alone from the Vanquish would have completely negated any invisibility! Fortunately the DBS is a true work of beauty & precision ...

    Spot on ens007 ruined is a bit too far but soiled is close enough.. :s

    The db9 and DBS versions of the v12 that the vanquish has certainly sounds very similar, but due to the euro-blakey-types ( sry very ancient on the buses reference 8-) ) the mufflers are designed to tone it down a little so as not to compete with the BMW and ferarri eu-preferred (poor) alternatives :x

    And this line says one thing - you have great taste my friend... -{

    And as to the green ensemble, sorry, but based upon the pic of you we have on file :v I tgt nap had excelled himself with that cartoon..... But then again a mans imagination knows few bounds...

    And the only precondition was that you show up.... B-)

    Then again if you fancy yourself as Jessica rabbit instead, then BT's jalopy would certainly be a better ride for you... :o

    Semper fi -{

    Sometimes though, substitutions are better than nothing... ;)

    Yes, knows no bounds... the problem with pedestals, is the only way from them is down - and I say this from experience :))
    However, turn up in the AM first.... then we can argue over my outfit then :D

    And my curves are of the Jessica Rabbit variety... so perhaps it will be Bondtoys car after all :))

    Better than nothing? ..... Dieting is no fun Lexi.....

    Pedestals are what lazy, unimaginative men (and women ) use when reality is too hard to contemplate - a fate we've all fallen from I suspect.. :007)

    No need to argue abt outfits - I have one in mind...

    I am sure, that Paul is used to see 4 or 5 alarm lights on, so another one does not make a real difference :D

    Cheers mate -{ - been a huge fan of the DBS since I first saw the publicity images & managed to blag a test drive in one at Gaydon not long after they were released. What a machine! My best friend has a beautiful DB9 & it is almost put to shame (something I never thought I'd ever say). I'd have to agree that your 'soiled' tag for the Vanquish is in hindsight more apt than my ott 'ruined' term, however it was such a shame that AM never seemed to get it right on that car. I can still visualise the butchering it got on Top Gear from dear old Jezza ... :s

    I've heard something similar regarding being able to open the valves up - will try & find out more and report back (my aforementioned pal has a good working relationship with a mechanic at AM).
