For those German gun collectors...

Hi cheapskates!

Lidl Germany has some product offers this week that might be interesting to the 'serious' gun collector: :D

small aluminum briefcase for coins:
DE_35382_01_b.jpg

Nice if you want to transport or display your classic handweapon - just add two sheets of foam, with cutouts ~ €15

wooden Teabox with hinged, windowed lid:
DE_53833_01_b.jpg

Makes a nice cabinet, will hold one pistol and could also hang on the wall ~ €7,50

UK LiDL promo leaflet received today includes the coin case, for all of £8.99 unfortunately the teabox is not listed.

check online, went to the local shop and they'd run out of stock and won't be getting any more.

i seriously doubt they had them in the first place, probably a ploy just to get you to go in the skanky **** heap of a dirt festering shytehouse, populated by inbred moranic fuckwits where the main consumer base is made primarily of flea ridden scummy shysters.

pissed off, thats how i feel. hate it when shyte companies like this drag people in with false claims. i'm willing to bet that only a handful of uk stores have these, and what really gets me mad is that all the other tat that was advertised on their website was in stock, but the very one item that i want isn't there.

    BASTARRDS!!!!

    Why the rant?
Here (Germany) it was advertised for last Thursday by Lidl, I went to the store on Thursday morning - there were about 10-15 pcs. of each product and I have picked two of each.

Next time you may try the day before, as they often have it one day earlier.

    More boxes on Lidl-Online (Germany):

BTW, if you're nice and polite, the inbred moranic **** may even reserve the stuff for you next time (for Germany, that is)

    Thanks!
I think I will change the wood to a more darkish/reddish color and add a sammet insert.
As promised, I will add some more photos of the LP53 after the weekend.

    sorry jimmi,

i guess i was just real annoyed. the guy in the store didn't even look at me, just walked away saying 'out of stock'.

trouble is i think you guys in germany have slightly better customer service than us brits. its becoming a constant theme in the uk (for me anyways) where people act almost annoyed when you bother them to try and buy something. on several occasions i've sent emails asking for quotes etc, and haven't even recieved a reply.

the guy in the store just told me it was out of stock, wouldn't be getting anymore in.

the only real reason i was gonna get one was the cheap price and the fact i work not far from our local store, but tbh i've seen better cases on an airsoft website, and with p&p inc, the price is roughly the same.

    congrats on the nice purchases though jimmi -{

ps, apologies for my anit-lidl rant.

    Hi Singe,
no hard feelings! Basically, you are right, of course. But venting like this is not very 'bondish' IMO :D if there is such a word.

The situation as you have described could have happend here too, just a few years ago. I am talking about those cheap food retailers like Lidl, Aldi, Norma, Penny Markt, Netto, Schlecker, Albert Hein or whatever they are called. Selling cheap (I mean cheap) stuff at budget prices-paying almost no wages to their employees. But they have improved in Germany a lot recently - Quality- and service wise.
I believe this is closely connected to the economic situation of the country that you are living - many of my UK friends are very unhappy. I hope things will improve soon.

trust me jimmy, there would have been no other solution that would have made me smile more than to simply put out a p99 and cap the smug bar stewerd right there n then. as i prefer to live in reality however, i guess i'll have to shut up and make do with ranting like a child on an internet forum.
