I have read in a few posts that the Tom Ford Harrington jacket from QoS was only available in brown, tan and black. But unless another color was made in addition to these, I own the color featured in the film.

Point is, that I'm on the hunt for the Y-3 Jacket (size M) and the Jack Purcell OTRs from CR (size 10.) If anyone knows where I can get these I can put you on to the jacket if you're interested. (I have info on the TF cardigan as well.) Thanks.

Agreed, this forum is for Bond fans and the sharing of information, ideas, collections and so forth. If you do not wish to provide members the source of your information that is your business. However don't expect reciprocity from members of this forum. Members are more than willing to help you with your question, but not when you pose it in the manner in which you did. Just by viewing the posts pertaining to your topic the sentiment is equally shared by many on this board.

Well at one point you are a “lurker”… but it takes time and courage before you kind of jump of the cliff. I must confess that it was pure luck that I ended here.. I thought that Mi6 would have been the main JB prop page– Dammm was I wrong… And in time I feel I have established many new friends, though trust, humor and mails.

I can only concur what others have posted but at the same time I would welcome a new member on ajb…

And wasn't the one in the movie blue?

BTW, if you want info on the cardigan, just call any Tom Ford store, it's part of their standard collection, just like the jacket (but they don't make the good one anymore).

I only reason I did not post the information straight out was because it would cause a massive feeding frenzy of all those who wanted the items. I respect the community. This place is great and chock-full of info. I have nothing to gain or lose by posting the info; I own the items. I simply wanted to insure that someone else might actually be able to secure an item as well while also being able to get some other items I was interested in.

I post the info and it's first come first served. Likewise if someone were to reply to my inquires on the board and not via PM; I get the info late and it's gone.

A great jacket! And nice to finally see one without the leather collar. But the screen-used jacket did not have the leather piping detail around the pockets.

Is that jacket blue or black? It's hard to tell in those photos?

I can't speak to information I don't have; but perhaps the screen used one did have the detailing though it was hard to see with the movement and later distressing. Or perhaps it was altered for production like the Y-3. Or never had it.

Its a blue, but it reads differently in different light because of the material.

You own a very nice jacket but this was issued by tf over a year ago. At least four members here bought then returned this jacket. Wrong fabric wrong color wrong pocket details etc. I am sure the other three who bought and returned this can pipe in. We were crest fallen at the time.
