To be fair, I wasn't too crazy about the novel counterpart because she was rather melodramatic but not without purpose. Still, she was far less annoying and but far more attractive. At least, she was described as being more attractive.

That's the great thing about novels. When I read CR she was mostly naked despite what Fleming kept telling me.
